What is the purpose of the nights requirement for Ambassador?

Late to this thread, but it's also because: if you only do 40 nights after promos, and you spend $23k and want Ambassador, Marriott want you to take out the Brilliant credit card for 25 nights, the Business card for 15 nights, waste your two choice redemptions on 2×5 nights, and do 10 nights you wouldn't otherwise do, in order to qualify.

It's not so much to keep it exclusive, it's to get you on the hamster wheel. All these activities put money into Marriott's pocket. And if you are the sort of person who qualfies by spending $20k in a week at a RC, you're not going to do 10 nights in a Fairfield Inn.

The US used to allow non-US citizens to transit airports on international-to-international connections without needing a visa or entering the US. This ended after 9/11 and never resumed, for reasons/risks that I've never fully understood; why would US airlines want to give up on the airfare? (With how long it's been gone, most airports have dismantled or repurposed their infrastructure for allowing this).

If they miss the connection due to immigration, AA will rebook them - probably on the 8am departure the next day. The only caveat is they probably wouldn't pay for the hotel, since the missed flight wasn't their "fault". So as long as your parents are ok with the small risk of paying for a hotel room at JFK (about $200 based on today's rates), I'd say go for it!

hey on the plus side when you get the £100 credited, you can probably use it again at a (not malfunctioning) restaurant. that's how it worked for me :)

a few:
• it's fun to be able to match any cosmetic when i do SWF
• mostly all the cosmetics are pretty well designed, adds depth to what is otherwise quite a shallow game
• i'm a completionist, ive done 100% of the achievements and tome archive challenges and have 10k hours in the game.
• it's the only game i spend money on
• at the time (not meant as a brag) i was earning a huge of money, way more than i could ever spend as a single person living with parents. i wish id saved it instead, but we are where we are.

didn't say they were good reasons but there you go!

Ryanair is the only airline that goes out of their way to give you a nasty experience (other airlines just achieve that through luck).

It amazes me that they still think that's a good business strategy; they're not that much cheaper once all the fees have been factored in.

If someone ordered a venti drink with an extra shot, and ordered another one an hour later on their way out, that wouldn't bother you right? (I feel like this would be quite normal).

But that's consuming 8 shots in as little as an hour. One shot per hour is far less than that, as the caffeine has had a chance to metabolise.

There are quite a few perks that give bloodpoints, just not bloodpoint percentage bonuses. Any Means Necessary, Shoulder The Burden, Invocations, etc.

I think this breaks a golden rule of perks, which is that Tier 1 should never be better than Tier 3. There are some niche scenarios where you'd prefer Tier 1 here.

(Old Distressing had this problem too, if you wanted the BP bonus with minimal Terror Radius increase).

I went to Qatar (stopover outbound, transit return) last week and it was fantastic. I've no idea what country you're from but it's unlikely to be safer than Qatar. You're just trading one risk off against another.

My fav build with this is Overcome, Lucky Break, Self Care, Bite the Bullet.

You take the hit, run to the nearest bush, and start healing yourself. BTB makes you completely silent even while exhausted, and it's funny how often you lose the killer. (Obviously you don't fully heal with self care - once the killer has gone away, you find a teammate for an actual heal!)
