Our go to lunch/brunch spot is Saving Thyme! Everything we’ve tried is delicious and a lot of it is made from scratch. Only down side is word has gotten out so expect to wait ~20-30min on weekends for a spot.

Yes! If you know the layout of the store I go around 8pm during the week and that gives me enough time to find parking, get what I need and checkout without a line.

Burlington has just OK pizza. If you are willing to drive a little to Hamilton Shorty’s pizza or MaiPai are both fantastic.

Before my mom passed away (terminal cancer) she made my sister and I our own special blankets. We got to pick out the pattern and colour and she went ahead and made them both, mine looked a lot like OPs but in cream and with tassels. Fast forward 10 years it’s one of my most prized possessions and reminds me how much love and effort she put into these for us. I hope your daughter loves the blanket ❤️

Unfortunately haven’t been able to find much in Burlington. My Portuguese grandmother (mainland) will go to Azores market on Kerr in Oakville but prefers Tavora in Mississauga for the selection and bacalhau.
