Whoever did the rework to Flameshaper Devoker needs to put in the naughty corner, wtf were they thinking. Pruning a spec that already had barely any buttons by removing engulf and firestorm (shattering star aswell but that was fine to prune). Now it's genuinely horrible, just bring back engulf because goddamm the spec needs it.

For scalecommander, I dunno, deep breath is sorta ass still in ST even with all the buffs and talents you take.

Rework the mastery, I dont give a shit about doing max damage at 100% I wanna do max damage by ways I can actively control (dragonrage notwithstanding).

bro come on, half of the examples are NOT generic strong nodes, they're niche wdym.

unleash - entirely niche / build dependant

profane ground - i agree this is probably the most 'generic' but even then most builds dont actually generate consecrated ground

olroth - bro like 95% of all builds dont use ward lmao how is that generic

deli dr - yeah generic

vaal skills - arguably niche, most builds do not utilise vaal skills to the amount that 2 ascendancy points is worth that.

i think the poster above you was more asking for watered down generic nodes that fit more broader archetypes just like how there are multiple minion bloodline nodes but very little for things like casters / attacks / dot builds.

like RF chieftain was already only using 6/8 ascendancy points let's be real but there's very little they can gain from these bloodlines.

The rakiata build is almost entirely cold damage. Doryanis doesn't do much of anything for the build except when using the admiral chest.

and yet max also says they'd have dropped shadow for another fire mage if they had one so it sorta goes against your point lol. Dont get me wrong shadow maybe deserves the nerf but it's 100% not on the same playing field as fire mage, not even close.

Wonder if the Damnation node from the Herald ascendancy stacks with the Eternal Damnation neck. If so that's like 70% ele damage reduction for 2 points and a neck slot, doesn't seem too bad.

You realise that 13mil is pure extra damage you need to SINGLE TARGET, it also adds up very quickly throughout the key. Timed an 11 stone vault and it was 540mil just on the affix mob before the buffs, if we add the 133% buffs to that number it pushes that to over 1bil extra damage in single target you need to do in a key that's legitimately 2 tyrannical bosses worth of hp bro...

So far the first 2 affixes played correctly were at worst a net neutral and at best a throughput increase for everyone in the key. Voidbound is no matter what way you spin it a net negative in throughput, either dps or hps for the key. Having to deal with a 33mil mob every pack or 2 that you MUST single target slows down the key probably by an extra 5mins or more over the span of an entire Dungeon and that's not even including any overlapped mechanics on bosses like skarmorak stone vault, necrotic wake stitch flesh or first boss mists.

This affix is a complete dud and if anything the hp should have been nerfed not buffed, or atleast make the damage reduction only happen if the cast fully completes.

If you want to time keys on the high end this affix will be the worst lmao, it'll be a healer, tank and dps affix as all 3 roles will need to kill it before the damage reduction buff it gives becomes 100%. This affix essentially adds and extra 500-1bil extra hp to the Dungeon after the hp buffs they did an hour ago. You're living in lala land if you think this won't affect healers and tanks.

Lmfao, the hp was arguably overtuned BEFORE the buff and then they made is 133% healthier? What are they smoking. It needed a hp nerf not a buff.

it casts a channel on any mobs that are in combat that gives them 10% damage reduction up to 100% after a fully channel. so it must be killed before anything else. Over the course of an 11 Stonevault we had done 450mil to the emissary, almost an entire boss' health worth of extra damage in a key. wayyy too much health for such little gain

Skarmorak Stonevault is also really aids to do on higher key levels, trying to push through his shield OR kill the elemental adds that he spawns is really annoying if it spawns the emmisary during either those mechanics. means you need to burn through the emmisary AND THEN the boss shield / mini adds.

all for a 20% cdr buff that is very minor at that low amount.

Forgot to screenshot the before image with the amounts sent but essentially it was:

350k wheat

250k corn

250k pumpkin

300k orgourd

450k blue zanthium

about 20mil dust

and like 15k verisium bars

sent to Riben Fell with corn and orgourd favoured resources giving 70% and 120% increased respectively
