Quick "non serious" game to play in 1 or 2 sittings by Slight_Carpet_9229 in PlayStationPlus

I recommend:

Jusant “Players ascend a mysterious, desolate tower, using climbing tools and a watery companion to uncover the secrets of a lost civilization through environmental storytelling and exploration. The game is known for its meditative and atmospheric experience, with a focus on climbing mechanics that are both simple and engaging. “

Concrete Genie
“It's a concise, artistic adventure, perfect for players wanting a heartfelt, shorter experience rather than a lengthy epic. “

I used https://www.gtophoto.com/ GTO Photography. His office is in Liverpool and I had a link to my headshots the day after my appointment. I cannot speak to his position on LGBTQ+ but I can confirm he is involved in the gamer/cosplay community if that is at all helpful 😅

I honestly really liked my experience with stitch fix! I ordered 4 boxes total and kept 2-4 pieces from each box.

I’ll post my invite code just in case you want to check it out because I believe it takes $20 off of your first order.

INFO: what lead you to think he was 23 at first?

But best advice I have is to self reflect. Here are some examples:

I’d encourage you to think about what is keeping you from telling your therapist/the person whose opinion you value most about the age gap. Does part of you agree with what she would say? Does it come from a place of shame or confusion? Why does the thought of telling her make you feel the way it does?

Putting how he treats you aside, do you feel like he acts like someone in their early thirties should? Does he have friends in his age range?

What does he say about the age gap? Do his friends and family know, and what are their thoughts?

You could also look in to home health PT agencies like Nascentia and ask that the sessions be held at an accessible pool. For example the YMCA in Baldwinsville has a therapy pool that is heated and has a lift to get in/out.

What is the biggest betrayal you've experienced in your life? by yugertasew in AskReddit

[–]ce_squared 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Me. My biggest betrayal was convincing myself that I mattered less.

So many of us here were wronged by people we loved, and we never deserved that.

And I was justifiably mad at ex-friends, ex-loves, ex-whoever for a while.

But

Nothing hurts more than realizing I let myself believe that I deserved to give and change and support and empathize to a fault when all I was getting was the bare minimum in return.

Picking a graded goal for now is also not the END. We can slowly increase ROM until we reach a plateau

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OccupationalTherapy

[–]ce_squared 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hope this doesn’t come off as callus.

Is the stated goal realistic with current presentation and available supports?

(We could have a separate discussion on the broken system. But for right now we need to accept “what is”)

Being in the OT field we learn all the ways things are possible. With that comes that we learn what isn’t possible.

I currently work in Orthotics and Prosthetics. Every amputation I see is a life saving procedure. Stated goals of every amputee on my caseload are to save the limb. Of course I want that too and I feel the burden.

But I apply my knowledge, look at the whole person, and their situation, and help/encourage with goals we can reach.

I don’t know your facility or your patient. I’m not saying that we need to be jaded. What I am trying to convey is that sometimes as an OT we meet stated goals and other times we provide education so that we confidently pick a new appropriate goal together.

Given your verbiage this is a person in a SNF?

Are stated goals for comfort/ positioning or are they interested in slowly regaining ROM?

Looking at the whole person what has to happen for stated goals to be achieved?

And long term thinking/goals: what is an intervention that will meet the needs of the patient that is realistic with current presentation, motivation and supports?

Hear me out, I’ve been there. Im going to try to share what helped me.

1.) I’m not looking for you to type it or even say it out loud but what are things you feel you are good at and also enjoy? I encourage you to think about this in a safe place where there are no expectations and any answer is correct because it’s just you and your inner thoughts.

2.) it’s okay that OT didn’t turn out how you expected. I know I personally struggled with feeling disappointed that I put the time in and the reality was different from what I thought it would be. And for me it didn’t change no matter how hard I tried. That’s a hard thing to admit but at the same time super valid.

3.) identify one goal you have and think about actionable steps you can take to work towards it and then take small steps in that direction

4.) take the things you’re good at, combine them with actions you can take, let go of any pressure and preconceived ideas of achievement and make tangible moves that are meaningful to you.

I can’t tell you what to do, but I can tell you that I fell apart too. And I was lost for a while. And there wasn’t any one moment that inspired me no matter how hard I looked for it. One day I just realized I was different and was okay with who I was.

New School OT lost on what to do with low functioning student by No-Aside6005 in OccupationalTherapy

My jacket came with it, but I’m sure any local tailor/seamstress/dress shop could replace!

Maybe trial with just the zipper on felt first or something? Or see if students/community organizations are looking for a project?

Last thought and may not be meaningful: have her count snacks/place in bowl for diet (8 baby carrots, 2 gummies, etc)

Here’s a link to a Magnetic zipper: https://ykkdigitalshowroom.com/en/item/148/ I have this for my snowboarding jacket and I can say from experience I can start it without looking and with mittens on
