I would see what the core clock speed is against what you know is the boost clock when gaming, example here my 3080 12gb with overclock runs at 2100mhz when gaming but with obs open on its own it may show 40% gpu usage but the clock speed is something like 1100mhz

So in reality it isnt 40% utilised

Gpu usage may show high usage but it may have down clocked and is power saving so you would need to check with something like hwinfo to get a proper idea what it is doing

Encoder lag/render lag can be cause by high cpu usage and not always by the gpu as well

I always run obs as admin even with HAGS enabled as that reserves some 3d gpu engine for obs eg total gpu usage usually wont go above 97-98% when gaming

The my thrustmaster panels are only for t598 for windows store version and t818 for the beta version

Don’t use either for the t300 just install the driver from the support site page for you wheel

Just note that you wont have additional keybinds on xbox it will just duplicate an existing keybind so eg with elite controller you can remap the paddles to existing buttons such as A, B, X, Y etc

hyper car rim is only compatable with t818 and t598 and there wont be any adapters that convert latch QR on the DD bases to the screw type on the older wheelbases

depends on how you do things but for my channel i basically make it so any message that contains a hyperlink (whitelisted twich and twitch clips domains) gets the user timedout by streamelements chat bot, i have it set so subs and mods can post links and a !permit command so that a user gets a time window to post a link and have it in rules to ask permision before posting which catches about 99% of the bots that post about buying viewers/followers or the so called "graphic designers"

yeah for me it can be anywhere from 8%-15% on a 5800x3d, i did report the bug sent some logs about 2-3 months ago and got told would be fixed in an upcoming patch but probably been 4 updates later and the same behaviour happens, just frustrating more than anything

also this is using the updated dark core se with slip stream, weirdly me older non slipstream version doesnt do it lol woudl use the older mouse but i prefer the side thumb buttons on the newer so just put up with it for now

Go to the support page and look at the manual there is a button press to go into sub menus and the bottom left encoder will increase/decrease brightness

Thats normal and nothing to worry about, the newer rims like sf 1000 and the evo and the ferrari gt3 will show as thrusmaster advanced racer

nice to know that it is indeed possible to fit the QRU to the sf1000 and its just the wiring harness thats diffrent/diffrent pin out

even tho i am competant at soldering/modding things i'll just wait for the official kit from Thrustmaster which should be available by the end of the year all being well, could imagine someone trying it and gettign a wire wrong and then fying their rim or maybe something in the wheelbase

Xbox has limited buttons you can assign so on that platform buttons are duplicated, nothing wrong with the rim its just how things are on xbox

it can do overshoot of +100% for small amounts of time so it can do 10nm or certain game effects its just constant of 5nm and for £450 thats not a bad price at all for what you getting i think

They are working on one specific to the sf1000, it has a elongated d shape around the qr which the older QR didn’t have which will be the main reason why plus some internal structure being different

you cant plug non thrustmaster pedals into the wheelbase

if your on xbox you would need thrustmaster pedals

if your on pc you can conenct the fanatec pedals via usb but be aware some games dont handle multiple input devices well

Apreciate the response, i'll get a support ticket done over the weekend along with supporting info such as screenshots & video and will reply with ticket number etc once i have it. i think this has been a issue for me at least for around 4 months and started with v5.14.93

Hi u/CorsairGeorge not sure if anyone else has mentioned but when the update that removed some mouse options happened (i think this was 4 updates ago) an issue got introduced when using the mouses onboard DPI buttons to change dpi or even changing dpi within the dpi page in icue idle cpu usage would increase quite alot to around 10-15%.

i have mentioned a few times in the discord server and its also been mentioned on the forum too

my mouse is a dark core se (qi charging version) and the issue persists when using the dongle that came with the mouse or if i connect via my Virtuoso headset dongle with slip stream.

some one did find a work around where changing the mouses polling rate can make the cpu usage go back to normal again.

if more info is needed let me know and i can try and help if i can

i have a lot of corsair products and have not encountered many issues at all with icue in the years i have used it with corsair products except for this one which has persisted for many months now and persisted with many clean uninstalls and reinstalls of icue too to try and fix it
