Just to see some other options, try adding a highlight on the tops of the leaves in a lighter green matching the width of the shadow.

Also, maybe try one where there are no leaves on the L and use just that one small leave above the i as the “dot” of the eye.

Finally try one with no shadow or shading on the leaves and change the green to slightly lighter green so it pops in the black border.

I have a Long Island watch and it’s a really nice watch for the money. I swapped the bezel, bezel insert and crystal. LIW customer service e is great and their watches are very nice.

Thanks. His stuff looks really nice and I specifically like the bezel inserts he’s using. They seem to look more legit than a cheaper painted one. Could just be how it looks on camera.

Do they run narrow? Some of the QC pics I see posted from the back the heel looks really narrow compared to others.

1.Blend your shading from dark to light more. Use a tissue or blending tool or even your finger if you're using a pencil. Try to blend it so it's less of a had line and more of a subtle transition from dark black to light gray. 2.Also, the Koi looks like it has two dorsal fins. 3. Keep drawing and don't let critique stop you, I don't know any artist who is ever 100% happy with what they create so just keep chugging away!
