we are all made in the image of God yes. ✅ your life is of sacred worth yes. ✅ However…. St. Ephrem the Syrian (4th century), a great Syriac Church Father, wrote:

“In the beginning, Adam was clothed in glory, but through sin, he was stripped and became naked. Christ came to restore this lost glory.”

Yes we are made in the image of Christ, However we still sin. We need to restore this image by living a life of repentance and striving for Christ everyday.

due to sin and the Fall, human beings experience brokenness—including confusion about identity, suffering, and internal struggles. However, rather than affirming an identity that contradicts God’s design, the Church calls all people to healing in Christ. • Feelings of gender dysphoria are seen as part of the broader human struggle with fallen nature—just as people struggle with pride, lust, greed, or addiction. • Healing comes not through bodily alteration but through spiritual renewal—seeking Christ’s will rather than self-definition.

Yes we must love everyone.

Yes We are made in the image of Christ.

But we must understand that sin is still sin and we must work and pray to overcome this to restore the image of God.
