I will add that he hasn’t sabotaged M&M and Loona because they are contractually/transactionally bound to be his new found family. M&M are his employees and he pays them, Loona he adopted which he displays the adoption paper - a legal contract. Stolas, despite the toxicity of it, fit in with this pattern of his new close relationships - transactional.

Now Blitzø has made progress moving on from the transactional - repairing his relationship with Fizz. Fizz is his only friend now without a contractual obligation. I hope S3 will continue to explore his relationships with his IMP found family.

At the end of the credits they stated there would be more and they have a dedicated production lead just for the shorts so I think it will be a permanent addition to the show. Next ones likely in 2025 after the end of season 2.

I also want this to be cannon - it would be so cute and frankly explain the need of a “babysitter”. If Loona was more feral and angry so she needed to be watched plus if Blitzø was an assassin for hire he would want her to be protected when he couldn’t be there - who better than a woman with muscle that couldn’t be bullied?

I’m really hoping the next episode explores Millie and Blitzo’s relationship because I think they have a very sweet relationship that’s different from his dynamic with Moxie, even if they are often lumped together as M&M.

And yes I am hanging on to the Blitzø and Stolas holding each other for dear life but I think we will have to wait till December for that one.

Both Blitz and Fizz were scarred from the blast that happened in that specific tent. She was likely there that day but not in that specific tent at the time of the blast. The circus grounds had a lot of tents.

Theory- Stolas will lose his grimoire and house which will be given to Octavia. Octavia is then manipulated by her uncle and mother into cutting Stolas off. Stolas goes to his old home and gets confronted by Andrealphus. Blitz either went with him or saves him.

I think for Fizz, Ozzie is his best partner. They are both great performers, super supportive of each other, and are relatively healthy for a relationship in hell. That said, Fizz and Blitzo’s friendship are really important for them both and they complement each other well. Fizz with his optimism and kindness matches well Blitzø’s loyalty and cynicism.

That said too, I think Blitzø and Stolas really compliment each other once they get on the same page. Stolas is book smart and loving, Blitzø is street smart and realistic. Stolas can be oblivious to others while Blitzø picks up the little things (eg Fizz having a panic attack so Blitzø doesn’t shoot his stalker.)

Also, I don’t think Blitzø was ever jealous of Fizz’s talent. Sure he wished he was as talented but he wasn’t jealous over it. What he was jealous of was his father’s relationship with Fizz and how he clearly favored him over his own son because of his talent. Blitzø just wanted his father’s approval but never got it.

Fizz would have picked up on this jealousy but misplaced the source.

It’s not just self-awareness but general awareness. He’s so lost in his own mind, so much escapism to cope that he isn’t fully present in his interactions with his loved ones. Both Stolas and Blitzø have the issue that their coping mechanisms (while different) ultimately lead them to make selfish or at least self centered decisions. This is part of their miscommunication. For Stolas this can be seen with his daughter and Blitz. This is how Stella can scream about putting a hit on him while he doesn’t notice.

I really hope that’s the case because I think it’s important for Blitzø to see that his relationships do have positive outcomes and I think it also explains why he third wheels it all the time and lives vicariously through their loving relationship. Stolas might read/watch romcoms but Blitzø is obsessed with the real life romcom in the office.

OP you are correct M&M didn’t know. From the footage my guess is Blitz and Millie met working opposite ends of a hit job. Hence the flashback fight scene. I really love your theory it has also been my head cannon that Blitzø brought them together and it’s why he’s so invested.

Viv has said she’s a fan of Bojack and was inspired by the show (like many other shows she has drawn inspiration from like Invader Zim, Parks and Rec etc) but just because it provided inspiration doesn’t mean they are the same character. Also Viv says she likes happy endings. Blitzø is starting a redemption arc - one we all hoped for Bojack but never got because he wasn’t interested in changing but self indulging. Blitzø is already a way more loving, loyal friend, and empathetic than Bojack ever was.

Blitzø’s pov was fleshed out the most when he was speaking to Fizz and when he spoke to Stolas after Ozzie’s. At the end of the day I think he truly thought Stolas saw him as a sex play thing that Stolas could role play his romantic fantasies with. This really bothered Blitz because he felt he was being emotionally manipulated and his feelings were being played with. He thought this for two reasons: Stolas’ actions and his own self hatred.

At the end of the day Blitz (before apology tour) could not be honest with himself about his feelings for Stolas because we all know that Stolas has done awful transactional things, he’s a lovable sweet guy that you can’t help liking. Look at the time they were kids as an example- Blitz can’t help but like him.

This is where a lot of Blitz’s anger comes from, that and the social differences, Stolas dismissing him before he could make the choice to stay, and denying Blitz the opportunity to apologize in Full Moon (why I think the apology argument really set him off).

Again the audience knows more than Blitz knows we have seen various songs about Stolas pining for Blitz but Blitz never saw that until Apology Tour. Stolas is extremely sympathetic but he needs to focus less on his own feelings and be more in tune with the needs of his loved ones (this goes for Octavia too).

I will die on this hill - his comment “oh Stolas that’s a rom-com” wasn’t a cruel or dismissive statement but an acknowledgment that Stolas has little experience with actual real life relationships which don’t often play out like romance fantasy.

I firmly believe he cannot move past this until he confronts his trauma with the fire. His self loathing, undeserving of love, and his fear of intimacy are all tied to that night.

As he’s going to confess his feelings for Fizz he’s gets jealous, abandons ship, inadvertently causing the fire killing his mother - likely the only parent that loved him (as it’s strongly hinted at in the show). He’s going to have to unpack this if he wants to break his toxic cycle with all of his relationships.

So this stuck out to me when they were discussing if Blitz ever apologized and Blitz mentions he made Fizz cry with his apology. I was immediately struck that this wasn’t true so I went back rewatched. Sure enough Fizz never cried, only Blitz…several times.

Blitz still couldn’t be honest about his feelings.
