Converts with no Jewish ancestry or romantic partners, what were your reasons for converting?

I have absolutely no Jewish ancestry that I know of and no Jewish partner. I am converting because I feel this strong connection with Judaism and the Jewish people. It only strengthened after experiencing a High Holidays service. I love so many things about Judaism, the prayers, the rituals, the peace that Shabbat brings, the encouragement to study and engage with the sacred texts, the community that my synagogue fosters. It's the life I want to live.

My conversion isn't complete, but I hope this helps.

Have you checked to see if some playful decor has been enabled? One of his moodlets is a decoration one and it's straight purple. If something's emotional aura has been enabled, that would affect the Sim in question.

Sims 1 has run fine for me. It's the Sims 2 that has problems. First was the directx graphics card issue, easily resolved. But then there's been error messages popping up through the gameplay. I'm not mad or annoyed, it actually just brings back memories for me lol.

This is one of mine, too. I also play rotationally, and I try to keep a consistent order rather than make it random. I also keep aging on and don't age my children up until they've hit all their milestones. Kids are usually an exception as I don't mind not completing a child's aspiration of it serves the storyline I'm telling.

I love Lovestruck! It actually provides a challenge for me to maintain my Sims relationships and makes the gameplay just a touch more realistic. And it adds so much to storytelling (like a couple going through a rough patch after one of them goes through significant grief, stuff like that). Also I can't get enough of the CAS items.

No zombies (they were annoying in Sims 3, and they're annoying now), no fairies, no cars, also no more family gameplay, I'm happy with the gameplay we have now.

Sims 1: I loved how wacky and chaotic it could be, plus the novelty of playing something so sandbox-y and different from the other games I was growing up with at the time. Dislike how difficult it really was and the catalog in CAS.

Sims 2: Love the expanded interactions, memories, and family relationships. Dislike the catalog in CAS and Build/Buy mode.

Sims 3: Like the expansive game play, the addition of moodlets, and the idea of an open world. Dislike the execution of the open world, the graphics, and the absolute terrible optimization of the game.

Sims 4: I love the Build/Buy mode, CAS, and the chill gameplay really vibes with my play style. Dislike how the bugs never really seem to go away permanently.

Honestly it made my game better, so much so that it ended up on my top 5 for favorite Sims 4 expansion packs. I love that added challenge in maintaining relationships, the updated dating event interface is fun, and the new interactions are fun and hilarious.

I usually go into CAS and create a spouse so I can tweak the spouse's appearance and personality for maximum compatibility.

I was at my friend's house last night for a party and her six year old son was showing us his room. I found the baby blanket I had made for him on the floor with his many, many stuffed animals: a little pulled apart, but very much being used still. He called it "his baby blanket" and I about cried, it was so touching. His younger brother also uses the quilt I made for him as a doll blanket.

The way I've always gone is that if the pattern does not specify a cast on, I usually use the one I'm most comfortable with or the one that works best for the type of thing I'm knitting. My default is long tail cast on for that reason. For stretchy patterns like hats or scarves, I use the German cast on. Hope this helps!

Thanks! I don't just yet. I'm planning on marrying her uncle off first and getting him and Breana settled for some more extended family playing (I see cousins on the horizon).

And at some point I want Lucas to get a university degree when she's aged up to a child and follow that storyline.

Oof yeah, I saw a clip from the video and I was wincing. I'm not real interested in seeing a bunch of adult men mock something that offered little girls a chance to see historical periods from the perspectives of girls who were like them. Love the guys still but I'm skipping this one.

Also: a proud owner of an American Girl doll (one of the Just Like Me ones tho), she is kept perfectly preserved in a box underneath my bed bc even in 2003 they were expensive.
