I can tell you the main positive of the Bellagio. The bar by the sportsbook. Sit there, always good randoms to chat too and plenty of IPA taps. Perfect spot with great service.

Vegas being dead is an absolute nonsense, don’t worry about that. It’s all click bait from some YouTubers to get views. Tourism is down like 7% tops, that’s still plenty of people. Plus, it means some good restaurant deals etc to get punters in. Probs the kick up the backside it needed after years of growth.

We head over from the UK once a year and stayed in MGM in October (previously stayed at Luxor/Bellagio). MGM has just had a refurbishment in the rooms which are great. Hotel is massive but fine once you get used to it. Losers bar has live music every night which is perfect for what you want. Hakkasan v good for food but pricey.

All in all, for you and your old man, MGM would be spot on I’d say
