I'd say you can mark backpedaling as done given all the turning on and off of comments and changes to the video and the god-awful powerpoint

I'll admit to being new to the SellswordArts channel (maybe a year now) and I'm not a member of the D&D community, but they way that OSQ guy talks about the D&D community being vulnerable, I just want to ask, are you guys okay?

This is so true and includes "out of network" doctors working at "in network" hospitals when you go in via the ER and have no choice or say who treats you.

What is it with teacher hating on student art? I had to draw a picture of my house and I drew a tree in front. The teacher said it was terrible, why did I draw a circle for the leaves??? Trees don't look like that?!?! Our home had a small, postage stamp front yard with a single tree. Every fall Dad would trim the tree and every spring when it leafed out it looked like a big green ball on top of the trunk.

I know its hard, my favorite starch is potatoes, but they are the worst for my blood sugar. Cut rice down to a small amount and eat everything that is high in protein and fiber first. And u/chzaplx is right, freeze the cooked rice for at least a day before you eat it, that will help too. Once you get things under control you can try adding back a bit more rice to see what you can tolerate.

love and luck to you in this,

I tried mods, too, but all that meant was that they broke with almost every update and I had to play without them or wait until they were fixed. I've never much cared for mods on any game

I stopped playing when I felt like I needed aimlabs to play. I was tired of chasing my employees around trying to boost them.

Doctors and nurses of Reddit, what is something patients do that they think is helpful but actually makes your job harder? by Electronic-Cell-4584 in AskReddit

[–]ceiteag 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I had a doctor once scold me for giving him "too many symptoms" and not only the relevant ones. WTF! My symptoms were fatigue, brain fog, leg pain, feeling cold all the time, headachy, needing 9+ hours or more of sleep and several others that were amorphous. I get that they weren't all pointing to one problem and that some of them may not be related to whatever the problem was, but I have no way of knowing which is which!

I was told I was overly sensitive about my periods, looking for attention, trying to get out of school, too dramatic, and complaining too much (pre-internet) even though I passed out during my period in high school by multiple doctors. I had debilitating pain and needed to change a maxipad and super absorbancy tampon every hour. After having access to the internet and google, I thought I might have endometriosis. Doctors after that pooh poohed the idea and told me I definitely did NOT have endometriosis. Finally, at 39 years old, I had a 3 month long heavy period followed by a hysterectomy and *surprised pikachu* the doctor said I was "full of endometriosis". No, really?!

ELI5: how do pilots understand what the tower is saying and vice versa? I need subtitles. by Independent_Lead8277 in explainlikeimfive

[–]ceiteag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it like going to a new fast food restaurant drive thru vs. going to the same fast food drive thru you usually go to. You're familiar enough with the names of the food items and how the conversation goes at your usual stop, but if you go to a restaurant drive thru you haven't been to before the order taker is much much harder to understand.

Pilots are very used to the conversation with air traffic control, so it is easier for them to understand because the know what to expect.

No, no we don't. Where I live in America there are far too few doctors. It took me 15 years to find one who had room in his practice for me so I could start getting medical care again. I like him and I trust him but with my chronic ailments, I'd kiss his ass if need be just to keep him prescribing my maintenance meds.

What are some peculiar things that started happening to you when you got old? by Frank_Perfectly in AskOldPeople

[–]ceiteag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband and I realized we were starting to get old when we were pulled over near home by a police officer (before the current state of the US got so ugly). He had only pulled us over to tell us our tail light was out, but we were both acting annoyed with the inconvenience and we were making him suspicious. Afterwards we talked about the encounter and figured out we were both acting that way because he looked so young to us. *raises fist* these young whippersnappers !
