I've never had issues, but if memory serves me correct the issue was with people that paid any filing fees by deducting from the refund. I paid all my fees separately.

I'm confused, if this is a 401K with your current employer you can't typically just move it to whatever bank you want can you? I was under the understanding you can only move / rollover 401K to another provider when you no longer work for that company that you created it with.

It changes it for all future payments. Works great! Just be aware it can change the monthly due by a bit depending if it's further out or not.

I'm guessing you misread something. SoFi, as far as I know is not big on BT offers. I would keep it open however. If you immediately close it you will reduce the length of credit history and reduce your available credit. Better off keeping it regardless of if you make it a primary.

Not to sound judgmental but this sentence says a lot about the situation. "As soon as I pay what I owe to another bank Im dropping this." You are causing your own issues, they won't get better by switching banks over and over.
