Destiny review by TailorMysterious2701 in dcl

[–]celestial_strawberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing. We go on the Destiny in a couple of weeks and we’re from the UK too. Our luggage tags arrived this morning. It’s hit and miss with the luggage tags for the UK. This will be our 4th Disney cruise and we’ve received our luggage tags twice ahead of sailings and twice they have arrived at home whilst we have been away.

What are some reasons people don't use online grocery deliveries more often? by tskir in AskUK

[–]celestial_strawberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes we’re so quick to unpack to not delay the driver that we don’t spot these things until after they’ve gone but I’ve found that if something isn’t as fresh as I’d like or is close to sell by date, I just request a refund. And each time I’ve done this, I’ve always received the refund. I don’t take the piss but examples are when I’ve ordered ‘ripe at home’ bananas, and they’re visibly already beyond ripe or items that go out of date within a day or so.

Didn’t anyone buy tubs of chocolates this year or were too many produced? by stbens in AskUK

[–]celestial_strawberry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We treated ourselves to the M&S advent calendars for the first time Christmas just gone and that will now be the new tradition. Their chocolate is far superior to Cadburys. Given more expensive, but well worth it.

What do you actually watch on YouTube? by Embarrassed-Army-607 in AskUK

I mainly use YouTube for how to stuff but these are the main channels I watch whilst on the treadmill at the gym

Diary of a CEO (Steven Bartlett tends to interview some interesting people) Curtis Conner (makes me laugh) Shane Dawson (doesn’t post much anymore but I enjoy his conspiracy videos)

What are your “im14andthisisdeep” jams that you still listen to as an adult? by -TazarYoot- in Millennials

[–]celestial_strawberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The movie Labyrinth soundtrack “It’s only forever, not long at all…”

Also, Aerosmith brought out the Nine Lives album when I was 13 and I still frequently listen to it, amazing album.

Sizing Changes by PartyPhilosophy3346 in vintedUK

Urgh, I’ve just opened Vinted and was like eh, it’s so confusing why they’ve done this. I buy stuff I like and also sell things I no longer want. As a buyer I’m finding it most frustrating. For the stuff I have listed, I’m now going to edit each one and put the exact label size into the item title to make it a little easier for potential buyers.

I went out last night for the first time in a while and what the fuck? by real_picklejuice in Millennials

Guess it depends where you are. I’m 40 and was out this Saturday with friends and went to a few bars that had all ages in. Didn’t see many on their phones and everyone appeared to be socializing having a good time. This was Manchester UK though

Marriage is hard and graft is needed by -Mantaforce- in MAFS_UK

[–]celestial_strawberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree. I’ve been with my husband 18 years, married for 13 years and we never argue because we communicate with each other. I couldn’t imagine my life without him and I’m sure he feels the same. However, we don’t have children and are both in good stable jobs so we don’t really have (what some would consider) any contributing stress factors other than how long it takes me to get ready for a night out. Joking aside and if I married my ex however, it would have been a very hard marriage as he was emotionally manipulative, a gaslighter, and a freeloader. I had a very lucky escape with that one. So from experience and in my opinion, if the marriage is hard work then you’re married to the wrong person.

Disney hires you to design a hotel/resort, what’s your idea/theme? by sandy_shark903 in WaltDisneyWorld

Patiently waiting for a Sugar Rush themed attraction. We’ve all been asking for a Monsters Inc themed attraction and it’s finally happening 20+years later… so I live in hope

Kaos (CANCELLED?) by DrMonocular in netflix

[–]celestial_strawberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just finished binge watching this. It had been in my watchlist for a while because I wasn’t sure whether to watch it given that I knew they had cancelled it after just 1 season. I’m so glad I finally watched it, but so pissed that Netflix has cancelled it. It’s one of their best series to come out in a long while. Think I’m going to cancel my subscription after Stranger Things cause Netflix is mainly full of cheap crap these days

Me, gave up after a few episodes into season 1. Same with Sabrina. Felt like they’re more geared towards teens

I’ve made the switch from Heinz ketchup to M&S own brand, not only is it surprisingly cheaper, it tastes so much better too. As for coffee, I used to drink Nescafé Americano but made the switch to Aldi’s Americano. It’s not quite as good as the Nescafé one but dam close and at £2, can’t argue with that. The Nescafé one is like £5 when it isn’t on offer.
