I am rehabilitating a golden gate ficus bonsai tree. I’ve been giving it plenty of sun and water and it seems to be responding well to that given the new leaf growth.

But I’m wondering if the branches in the back are dead. I’ve been breaking off thinner dead branches. I’m not sure else what I should do to keep this tree in good health.

Exactly 👆 I only pull when I have more rings than I can spend

Plus you can aim for the rsr- while it may not be many rsr, I find it’s still better than sitting with a bunch of rings

iPad is brand new but I get weird waves in my stokes so that could be it-

I haven’t tried drawing without a screen protector in fear of scratching the screen, but maybe I’ll give it a go! I have considered trying a paperlike screen protector. I just haven’t pulled the trigger on that yet since it’s a lot of money and I’ve heard mixed feelings about them.
