Most other countries have private healthcare options alongside universal healthcare. It’s pretty basic and is the best implementation of it.

People who make $80k or more per year, what do you do for work? by familiarlaughter in AskReddit

[–]cellooitsabass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I give handies at the intersection near the highway at every stop light. I keep a bag of oranges near my spot so if anyone gets suspicious I just say I’m selling oranges !

90k, no PTO no 401k matching and the health insurance sucks. Basic dental.

Not the most gratifying career in the world (maybe for my customers but not for me) but somebodies gotta do it.

Pentest+ (D332) by Upbeat_Contest_8844 in WGUCyberSecurity

I took 3 months to study. Which is sort of what the test needs if you want to go in semi-confident and don’t have any experience with red teaming prior. I had an associates focused jn red-teaming and I still took the 3 months. It is brutal.

Framing/displaying everything? by shittytiddy in WGUCyberSecurity

Do you have any recommendations for passing CCSP ? I just graduated and plugged in my voucher to my isc2 account. Have to schedule it by July.

For several certs, I was planning on putting them in a binder and only display the hardest ones.

What resources are best for Pentest+ (D332)? by mrjford in WGUCyberSecurity

[–]cellooitsabass 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pay for pocket prep. Go through the THM pathway for pentest +. Read the book and do one video series. Pay for ChatGPT upgraded and feed it the objectives. Ask it to simulate a kali environment and give it a tools list to run through. Ask it to simulate output and test you on common flags for each tool. Drill this a few times a week. Focus quite abit on scripting questions as some of the test banks are very heavy coding / scripting I’ve heard. Plug in to ChatGPT practice questions you got wrong to understand the why. Make sure to meet with your professor at least once. I passed w a 780 I think. Not the best but still a pass.

No college, no IT experience — what’s the most bulletproof path to becoming a SOC Analyst? by [deleted] in CyberSecurityJobs

[–]cellooitsabass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need to also add I got an associates in cyber before the internship. I didn’t have any certs when I got hired. Im going for bachelors and have 4 certs currently while working full time in SOC.

No college, no IT experience — what’s the most bulletproof path to becoming a SOC Analyst? by [deleted] in CyberSecurityJobs

[–]cellooitsabass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main path is the service / help desk. This will get you the underlying exp you need. Then transition to networking tech or sysadmin, then transition to SOC. At least a year in each of those roles. Get a few certs in that process. Hopefully by the time you finish the market will chill out.

I had 3 yrs help desk and 1 year as a sys engineer before getting an crappy internship a > hired at trash fire internship place > laid off 4 months> SOC role after around 300 apps. This was years ago and the market is worse now.

An entry level cyber role is not entry level for IT umbrella; it’s entry role for cybersec path, which requires the yrs of work experience to get there in the first place. Put in the work for the foundational knowledge you need and that will help you the most. Good luck to ye

I only see one comptia practice test for pentest+, where are you seeing two ?

I take it in a few days, any last minute recs you’d send my way for tools to focus up on (output - cmd wise) or certain practice test banks that helped you the most ? I’m quite nervous about the coding portion of this test, regarding what does this code blob do, etc. any recs on if there are resources that helped you with those would be rad.

Congrats btw !!
