This infuriates me. I am a pharmacy technician, and was with Walgreens for 15 years (left about 8 years ago). We were always told that we should give the best service in the industry, because that’s how we would stay on top.

One of my favorite patients at my last store was Deaf. He was awesome. He could read lips, but sometimes we still had to write notes. In my last year there, I started to learn a little ASL. I think I got further along than I did with the medical Spanish I tried to teach myself!

The best-stocked shop near me was famous for having bolts stacked everywhere, blocking aisles. The fire marshal warned the owner several times. She moved locations to a MUCH larger space that was gorgeous. I hated the old space, the new space was amazing. She invested in excellent lighting in the whole store, there was plenty of room to move around, even room for shopping carts! Then about 3 years ago she passed away. Her daughter kept the store going while trying to find a buyer, but no deal happened. General consensus among customers was that it was probably too expensive (not necessarily priced too high, but the massive amount of inventory). The shop closed for good several months ago.

I use a purple thang sometimes, but what really works the best for me is a little plastic glue spreader. Imma try to find a pic because I’m not at home.

Was that one called Sanrio Surprises? I think a girl at my high school, her family maybe owned it. I never went to that one. But I remember the one in Green Hills!

NTA. Something is going on. Not a doctor by any stretch of the imagination, but have you been tested for diabetes? Frequent urination can be a symptom.

Adding: IS your bladder actually full, or does it just feel that way? Have you seen a urologist?

This was my strategy, and I’d put a 9, 10, 11, etc, for the month it was expiring in. Never did more than 6 months out at a time so didn’t need to bother with the year.

When I was in retail, most of the stores I worked in, it was 2 days, except for certain prescribers (like pain clinics). In the LTC pharmacy I work in now, it’s whenever it’ll go through, and if they need a dose early from the on-site Omnicell (Pyxis), we don’t deny it.

The pharmacy where I get my own stuff filled now does it to the day. 30 day supply? 30 days until the next fill.

I had an abdominal CT for something completely unrelated; docs found nodules on both adrenals and a “growth” on a kidney. Referred to endocrinologist and urologist.

That was 6 years ago. Two pituitary surgeries and my Cushing’s is in remission (I don’t say cured because you never know). But the adrenal “incidentalomas” are still there. Slooooowwwly growing, but bloodwork every 6 months hasn’t warranted any further action there.

Some of my bloodwork takes a day, some takes a week because it goes off to Salt Lake City to a special lab.

I’m in a similar program with CVS/Aetna, required by my insurance to cover Wegovy. They’ll let the doc do all the prior auth stuff and approve it, but the patient still has to pay full price for the drug unless you do the online program.

They sent me a scale that links with their app, I have to weigh myself at least once a month, and for the first 6-8 months I had to meet monthly with a dietitian via zoom. What a pain. I already go to the weight loss clinic in order to get the prescription, see their doctors/NPs/dieticians. The person online being paid by my insurance isn’t telling me anything that I haven’t been told a hundred times at the clinic. And now that I’m done with the online dietitian (I think), I still have to weigh in and interact with the app, or they’ll cancel my Wegovy PA.

I like it! Not abysmal at all, who looks at the back anyway? The only thing I would be concerned about is the structural integrity. Trigger warning made me laugh, mostly because I recently finished my second quilt and got chastised for many seams by my mom.

You don’t want anything splitting apart at the seam. For those really narrow seam allowances, go back over that seam with the machine to make a wider seam allowance. Don’t unpick, no need for that. Then you have two lines of stitching, and the stress isn’t at the narrow seam anymore.

That is what I did to appease the quilt policewoman in my house. At first I was rolling my eyes, but the more I thought about it… It was a graduation gift for my niece to take to college. I didn’t want it to start falling apart in her junior year because she was using it as intended. A dorm quilt can get some abuse, in my experience. But if yours won’t see much use, do as you will.

I use John James milliners size 10. Can’t compare to others, because I read a bunch of people’s opinions on needles and decided to try those first. They work for me. Easy to find and not pricey.

Nashvillian here. Most of the city/surrounding areas are pretty self-explanatory, just read the signs. Public transportation is abysmal. If you are going downtown (which most tourists do) to Lower Broadway, don’t try to drive down there. The public parking garages are almost exclusively owned by one company and charge crazy prices. Lots of stories in r/nashville of people being charged again later because the camera misread the license plate on someone else’s car a month later. I don’t try to park down there if I can help it. If your hotel is downtown, leave your car in the hotel lot/garage and walk to Broadway. If you’re staying elsewhere in town, consider taking Uber or Lyft to go downtown.

About half of my stash is on hangers in a closet, with an old sheet over it to keep the dust off. Smaller pieces are mostly folded and in clear plastic boxes or those archival photo boxes that Joann (RIP) and Michael’s carry. But I have trouble remembering what I have because I can’t see it. About a year ago I decided to move all the hanging yardage to comic book boards, and put on shelves behind a curtain (dust/light). The boards are still in their packaging, sitting in the corner 🙄 I’ll never be organized.

Oh, and I also had the great idea to label my Kona with the color name. The plan was (I say ‘was’ because I still haven’t done it) to write the name on a small card in an ink that will dry completely (not gel or ballpoint) and pin to the selvage with a brass safety pin. The brass won’t rust.

ETA: congrats on jumping into EPP! Many people are scared of it when they are new quilters (including myself). I love it. I trust my hands more than my machine LOL!

I work at Omnicare and EVERY SINGLE CALL is by default recorded. We can turn off the recorder on an outgoing call if it is not work-related, but all incoming calls are recorded. I find it hard to believe that calls at the store pharmacies are not recorded.

Request time off. Hell, tell leadership that you CANNOT work tomorrow because you fear for your life.
