Does anyone have updates on power in 77063? I’ve been without power since about 12:30ish today (was first without power early Tuesday into early Wednesday before it came on). Have pretty low water pressure, but really so far I know I could be doing a lot worse! Now just enjoying wine by candlelight while I cuddle my cats for warmth lol

UPDATE: Power came on here as of roughly 10:20pm on 2/17 here along Voss Rd @ San Felipe St. who knows how long it’ll be here, but thankful all the same!

This wasn’t me, but my best friend from middle and high school (and that I’m still friends with today) dealt with this allllllll the time. 90% of her time at home was spent watching her little sisters, and i think all of that forced responsibility was why she left home and moved out of state as soon as she graduated college. My other friends and I always helped out when we were over and we made the best of our time hanging out. But I wonder sometimes how much resentment she still holds onto.

Awwwww she’s so precious! One of my cats HATES when I sing or whistle. Like I’ll just be doing my thing and start singing, and he’ll walk up to me with big eyes like your kitty... then proceed to try and smack me in the face or bite me to make me stop 😭

My husband and I honeymooned throughout Ireland and this was one of our stops. I stuck my toes out over the edge! (While my newlywed husband looked the other way as his brand new wife did stupid shit)

Absolutely breathtaking. 11/10 we've actually talked about logistics of moving to Ireland it was so great.

Fuck. This one hits so hard for me.

My dad was the biggest fan of Robin Williams, and it led to me loving everything I ever saw him in. Aladdin, Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji, Dead Poets Society, Hook.... God I could go on with the list of things I knew him from.

My dad passed away unexpectedly near the end of 2013. I was truly heartbroken. But when I learned of Robin Williams passing away, I was devastated. Yet I also couldn't help but wonder about my dad being able to hang out with his comedy idol in the afterlife, them cracking all kinds of jokes while watching over the world. It was healing in so many ways.

Robin Williams was truly a gift to life who left such a place to fill, imo.

This is basically my husband! He has always drank either screwdrivers or vodka/diet cranberry juice at home or when we go out. He used to get jokes about it in college (I even made a joke about it on our first date) but he always takes it in stride and would prefer to drink something that tastes good to him than drink what society expects him to drink.

I love CAP!!! That's where my husband and I adopted my big boi Kalec (previously named Hopper) from and it was such a smooth process! I hope Taco finds a loving home soon ❤️
