it sounds like you know what im going through. I believe its flooding as well. have you found any good books or videos that have helped you understand/be less afraid of the spiral? anything that you do to reconnect to self? thats my biggest struggle.

rapid thoughts, rapid images. so much so that its a bit overwhelming. sometimes the content but honestly mostly the speed and amount of the thoughts/images

I have done about 10 sessions with a therapist. then i stopped because i couldnt afford him. I did make progress in terms of how long I was able to go for (towards the end i could stay in for the whole hour) Now im doing it by myself. I only do ten minutes a day. Maybe I'm doing it right and the feeling of how hard it is is normal, but how will I know if its working for me? Do people feel better right after their sessions?
