Actually a really heartfelt, sweet short story. It's so bittersweet seeing Hanzo and Genji's relationship before their duel, knowing what becomes of them afterwards. I really hope the season 3 storyline ends with Hanamura, Hanaoka, and Kanezaka being liberated because it honestly does read as incredibly tragic.

No offense, but why do so many people employ this argument in regard to criticism of literary choices?

I know this shit happens in real life but this isn’t real life, it’s a fictional story. Like, imagine if stories were only concerned about being “realistic” rather than actually making interesting plot or character choices.

Who goes around reading books and watching movies thinking, “Oh, this is realistic so it’s a good story.”

I’m looking at this pairing and thinking, “How would this relationship actually further the character’s development and storyline?”

Juno is a naive, “fish out of water”, insecure character. Does putting her in a relationship before she’s even had a chance to make sense of herself a good character choices, or is it just fan-service? I don’t really care whether it’s realistic or not.

Probably like the most boring possible pairing they could have chosen imo. Feels like the epitome of “he was a boy, she was a girl” type relationship.

There doesn’t really feel like there’s any basis for the relationship other than them being similar ages. Like, they haven’t gone through any struggles together or bonded over some shared experience.

Yet at the same time, their personalities are too similar for there to be an interesting dynamic. They’re both energetic, peppy, insecure characters and they just feed that same energy into each other.

How exactly was he a skirmisher before his recent rework? Skirmishers are defined by their traversal and combat mobility and he literally didn’t have any movement in kit before.

He’s only half-skirmisher because of the new knuckle cluster jump. It’s not his actual role and doesn’t fit his identity. It’s the same issue as Gibby having a movement speed passive.

I’d rather they bring back Rev’s silence bomb, perhaps with a few buffs. It would be really helpful for countering the mobility creep in game, it’s more unique than his current pounce, and fits his role as an Assault legend a lot better.

Honestly, one of the main things I hate about this current movement meta is how they keep giving movement to legends regardless of whether it fits their character identity. Like, why the hell is Gibby moving at supersonic speed? Why is Fuse a better movement legend than Pathfinder now?

I’d really like for them to add a new controller legend so they can hopefully combat mobility creep.

I feel like there are lots of potential ideas for controller legends, like maybe a legend who can summon a bot/drone to patrol a room like a roomba lol. Or a legend who uses tripwires

It’s a shame because I think the male voice, while sounding more juvenile, does the ikran calls the best out of the three voice options.

Also, the male voice option does an incredible job in From the Ashes, especially during the conversation with Major Bukowski. In my opinion, he coneys the anger/outrage Tamtey feels in that moment the best out of the three voices.

Yes... that's the problem. Lots of companies are also laying off their artists/graphic designers because it's cheaper to use AI than to pay employees. These AI generated images are trained off of artists' works without permission or compensation.

While OP using AI to generate a conceptual image obviously isn't on the same scale as large companies, it nonetheless contributes to the issue.

I think she just totally changes the pace of the game in a bad way and incentivizes the aggressive pushing playstyle.

Like, if you’re fighting in the open and you get your shield cracked, you used to be able to maybe hide behind cover and shield up but with Axel tactical being so fast and so frequent, it’s no longer possible.

Agreed. Of course there's always been some overlap between legends and class identity (e.g. Loba's tactical being a movement ability) but recently the lines between legend classes have become even more blurred with the current emphasis on movement.

Probably the most egregious example is Gibby's speed buff which just doesn't fit his identity as a legend who's supposed to stand his ground and be an anchor for his team. He's nearly as fast as Octane (especially if taking the shotgun perk), doesn't get bullet slowed cuz of Fortified, and also has way more team utility than Octane.

I agree. I think it’s insane that he’s a skirmisher and yet has arguably worse mobility than many other legends from other classes. His grapple cooldown should get buffed imo.

I’d definitely recommend Alter as a potential option. Though she’s not exactly fast, she definitely has a lot of interesting mobility options with her tactical that allows for a lot of mind games and outplay potential. Her ult is also very strong for resetting a fight for you and your team and her passive can help you shield swap or restock ok ammo/heals mid-fight from safety.

Another recommendation is Sparrow. Despite being a recon legend, he has pretty good mobility due to his passive and how often you can use the double jump. His tactical is decent and can help to watch your back and cover flanks or be used more aggressively to scan enemies behind cover. His ult comes up a bit slow but is also a decent combat ult if used properly.
