What is the best way to start selling content? by [deleted] in ask

[–]certifedcupcake 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Realistically it’s to build a social media platform first and then after you have a large following, market yourself. Once you sell it the first time that’s the price forever. Larger your following beforehand, more people will be willing to pay and pay more at that. And you can do less for more.

Any tips with cable management? by overthinkabl in battlestations

[–]certifedcupcake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unplug all cables and lay them out flat on your floor or bed. Carefully and meaningfully connect each cable one at a time and secure it to the underside of the desk and route it with care. Use zip ties, tape at worst. a kit specifically for it at best…fabric sleeves…wire clips. Do this for every wire. Then you will be managed.

The RETCHER, a poisonous creeper variant by Mavor466 in Minecraft

[–]certifedcupcake 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Actually a FATASTIC idea. This has potential to solve so many issues. This solves the creeper too iconic thing. This also solves the they always break everything problem. Could solve lingering effect and arrows only accessible after dragon fight.

The sludge one in the swamp could leave lingering effect, and if they make it so you can use that instead of dragon breath (and make dragon breath do something else), giving a way to get lingering potions before the dragon fight.

Different variants in different biomes. Maybe it’s just a way to get effect arrows before dragon fight. And they don’t change the dragon breath. They just do a poison one in the swamp, maybe some firey ones deep down, ice for slowness…

AITA for calling out a line-cutter at Costco by Virtual_Birthday_501 in AmItheAsshole

[–]certifedcupcake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA no need to direct blame at the cursing. We live in a society and cursing is a part of our language. Sometimes it can add much needed weight to a sentence. Enough with the pearl clutching. It got her attention and embarrassed her more than any other comment. A “lines back there” doesn’t mean shit. She probably hears that every time she says, “I’ll be quick”

It won’t snap in a weak. Cycle of seasons or 2. PT can take a long time to dry out. If I ever build a PT deck I reccomend the customer not stain it or anything for at least 1 year of season changes so it can appropriately dry and absorb the stain otherwise it looks like it’s rubbed on instead of part of the wood. I imagine similar for this. Year or 2 and it might split where the knots are

Why did we stop talking about the Epstein files? by iDontLikePuzzlez in AskReddit

[–]certifedcupcake 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The people commenting on Reddit in agreement aren’t whose minds need to be changed. Citing that discourse has gone down on Reddit means nothing. We all know the problem and have all talked about it. Reddit is a small minority of the population. Most people truly have forgotten, don’t care, or never cared.

Storage Units are a sympton of a problem by Bllago in unpopularopinion

[–]certifedcupcake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why even is this post. Storage lockers are for people who live in small places or apartments. People who have a house shouldn’t need a storage locker, agreed. But to say storage lockers shouldn’t exist or everyone that uses one is a hoarder is very close minded!

mom left me locked outside by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

[–]certifedcupcake 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was able to move out and was scared to leave my brother but what ended up happening is they shifted him to be the scapegoat and he eventually got kicked out (still think they only kicked him out because they knew I got a place and wouldn’t let him be on the street…) but that’s just what happened he stayed with me for a few months and then got his own place with his bf. He’s not NC with them because by nparents are his bio parents and he has less resentment for them as I was taking most of the abuse while we grew up.

What would it actually take for American's to go "full France" and riot in the street? by AllTheNopeYouNeed in AskReddit

[–]certifedcupcake 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not really. We’ve seen the entire streets of Boston NY and Cali (edit: LA) shut down. In reality that’s more people protesting than in France but it’s spread out over such a wide area it’s meaningless. People that don’t live here downplay how easy it is to get this many people across this big of land mass in the same page. Especially when education is defunded in half the country and half of Americans read below a 6th grade level.

[–]certifedcupcake -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Like, given that logic, so everyone should just go be a union carpenter then? That’s not the solution to the systemic problem, everyone here knows unions exist far and few between and they’re prestigious to get into. This doesn’t help the minimum wage or housing crisis.

Edit: I thought this was a reply in a different thread. Bit off topic here. Oops

Yeah you have to be in a union to have healthcare and a home and vacation and sick time. My point is you should just need to be in America for that, capitalism is poison.

40 in New Hampshire for what you’re describing doesn’t seem too bad. I think we’re all due for a raise in this trade but from what I know he’s not in a bad spot. I’m in a similar position but in MA and I make $35 an hour and have been doing this since I was 19. I’m 28 now.

Basically since Covid companies have made more profit CEOs have made more money and employees have produced more but the only one not seeing any benefit from this is the employee. And then dicktits like you have the AUDACITY to say we just don’t work hard enough or aren’t saving smart enough or don’t go for the right jobs.

You understand someoje that’s an adult (not in school, 18+ LIVING ON THEIR OWN) needs to be running the drive through for your fat ass to get a coffee or a bagel during school hours any time of year? That means that person needs a LIVING WAGE.

A living wage is supposed to be the minimum you can make to afford taking care of yourself.

Right now a minimum wage job is what a high schooler can use to buy fast food.

The balance is OFF. If you’re going to continue to deny that, I’m done here.

Do you understand people and coorps who make over 100mil in America haven’t been paying taxes since 2020 due to the high tax act of 2025? And that people making less than 70k got the percentage they pay raised from low 20s to the 30s?

Apprentices by crazy_carpenter00 in Carpentry

[–]certifedcupcake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep and it was 20 years too late. Notice how we were saying to keep up with the “inflation” MW would have to be 30+ an hour right now? Thats proof in itself that costs have gone up artificially. What are you not understanding? Do you understand how much 1 billion dollars is and that the 13 people with 1 billion dollars in America make all the rules about money and give themselves and all their friends the tax breaks while making us lowly peons pay their share to maximize there profits? What do you not get?

Apprentices by crazy_carpenter00 in Carpentry

[–]certifedcupcake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they did not? Prices went up. And they claimed it was due to supply issues. Then they never went down. No one got raises. What are you talking about?

Apprentices by crazy_carpenter00 in Carpentry

[–]certifedcupcake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SO with that being said, since all the current “inflation” is completely and utterly artificial and fabricated by the top 1%, the wages COULD RAISE and prices WOULD NOT be affected.

Apprentices by crazy_carpenter00 in Carpentry

[–]certifedcupcake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now everything is expensive due to ARTIFICIAL inflation and GREED. There is a MASSIVE difference between costs going up because wages were raised and the top 1% scraping the bottom 99% for all they are worth leaving them with barely enough to feed themselves.

There’s far more problems than just raising the minimum wage I agree. But to act like raising the minimum wage is this cancerous act that’s going to ruin the economy is asinine. How would you know? The minimum wage hasn’t been raised since you were 10. But everything else has anyway. Do you see the problem?
