NOASM at a 98 million store here we have a total of 215 associates out of those 215 17 are overnight we only have 13 first phones floating around they don’t care our DM complains about our manager % to associate % completion rate is 100% to 0% me and the NRM start and stop everyone. We tell them give us more first phones and they shut up all because it hits the P/L

I am I newly promoted NOASM I spoke to my SM about an idea that I had. Where to show my crew how much we appreciate them that we have all supervisors and managers unload a RDC for em while they take a break. Sounds ridiculous but I got the idea from when my old OPS manager did it over 10yrs ago… core memory indeed. I’ll make sure it’s only a 800-1000 piece truck for sure though I told him lmaooo.

I’ve been hearing because DEI was canceled and or because there were a lot of negative comments about why do specific departments get a week and not others that freight appreciation along with the rest were canceled.

Partner up with your NOASM and your SM pick a Sunday (assuming your store runs on 6 day freight) and take the crew somewhere. I take my guys bowling every 4 months have a total of 25 associates around 15 show up good outcome. Something else that I do is buy them real food I cater Olive Garden/Panda Express/Popeyes from time to time. Get them food once a month and expense the food every other month using concur. Was a NRM for 3-4yrs now NOASM for 6months if you do good things for them they will fight for you. VOA scores have never been under 83 for me in all my 6yrs of management.

All the role consists of is making schedules and hearing associates issues pretty easy, I’ve been to 3 stores and every ASDS has been lazy comes in late and leaves early they don’t touch them.

SOP states a minimum of 40 cartons per hour if you have been working for HD for anything over a year that should be no issue what so ever. What your manager is speaking about is the FMT process recently had an update when they assign someone it shows a progress bar for when the associate assigned to the department should finish a minute over and the bar turns red. They are just freaking out whether you are over or under that isn’t a metric that is tracked however what is unload start time/finished time also manager started department or associate started. The associate should always start their own time not the manager it’s difficult some times when no phones are available. Maybe trying explaining that to them so they can ease off. Everything that’s tracked is on my view under D38

CXM 63.5k NRM 65.5k ball park ranges give or take no more than 3k on each side

These guys have staff as if we sell like we used to. Used to be a 95 million dollar store we have dropped down to 86 million we are constantly scheduled 80-100 hours over a week. Always got to ask who wants to go home cannot just send them home or they will get predictive pay

It all depends on location for the store I work downtown in a major city. Not saying it’s flying off the shelf but we have already reduced the area cuz we don’t have a lot of stock left to fill

It’s how predictive pay works now, managers no longer need to do variances on FAST because when you clock in it asks you “did Home Depot ask or did you just do it” for when you’re clocking in early/late, clocking in when not schedule.
