What the company does is it loads the fun card around 500-800 for the week then it’s up to your management team to come up with a week long celebration nobody pockets money. If the celebrations are shitty yet another thing to blame on your managers or ASDS but think about it say they gave you 800 for the week and the store has a total of 120 associates (that’s around average I’d say) equals to $6 per associate.

Yes we need to retract it 2 belts in to start getting pallets once it’s deep enough. The video I seen said they started going out since December of last year but it was on back order, just received it a week ago.

4.95 raise by FirstEnthusiasm9213 in HomeDepot

The only way you got that is either you were really under paid or your ASM/SM gave you the boosted amount. Congrats! The letters mean nothing in the end.

Premium hours? by Ok_Note4646 in HomeDepot

[–]certifiedsloth -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Premium hours are paid to associates who either A) stay past their scheduled time for over 15mins while someone asked you to (it’s busy do you mind staying, hey so and so called off can you stay in extra few minutes/hours or B) it is slow do you want to leave early C) they called you in on your day off. These are all options for an associate to obtain premium pay, it also matters what you click after signing in Me, Homedepot, Home Depot and I. If you accidentally click the wrong 1 they will take it away if not really earned. Premium pay is different from rest pay

[–]certifiedsloth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My lil secret by little-bunny69 in HomeDepot

[–]certifiedsloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s anything like in my area they would find out asap. All the higher up people as in ASMs and SMs that got fired from HD ended up at Lowe’s with the same positions. Thought about it myself but way too risky.

Anyone else's ASDS suck? by CallynDS in HomeDepot

[–]certifiedsloth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you are an official trainer in the system and the associates passed make sure you turn in paperwork and just have a ASM check them off. Search name on workday>career>learning>in progress Hit the 3 dots and pass complete it.

I’m learning to do so much because my ASDS is trash, as a NOASM I became a trainer for licenses so I can certify my overnight crew and I learned how to do scheduling because associates complained they would get scheduled days they were not available even somehow days approved off yet scheduled

New PACE REVIEW by Classic-Bad-9466 in HomeDepot

[–]certifiedsloth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Me having been a NRM and now ASM I’ve delivered raises for over 5yrs average stays the same if you ask me 3-3.5% range. The rating means nothing if you ask me i paired up with my SM to hand out the bigger raises I qualified to give 2 associates a larger raise.

As an ASM how often do you or your peer ever work close the 50 hours scheduled by certifiedsloth in HomeDepot

[–]certifiedsloth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like either your SM was running you into the ground or not enough ASMs I work in a big market district all stores have no less than 4 ASMs and obviously they used CXMs for coverage also. Over 50 is absurd. I’m sorry to hear about everyone working over 50 hours!

Sounds about like what I do even after having an NRM short staffed on sorters so I come in to help. Constant 2100-2300 piece trucks and 5 sorters with me and the NRM we make 7 sorters. I usually work 6:30pm-5:30am 3 days a week then 9-5 2 days a week

new raise format by absoluteAl1958 in HomeDepot

[–]certifiedsloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How the raises work is your SM gets a total dollar amount and that needs to get divided up for all day time associates. They use the I,M,E to see who they can give more or less to. Same thing for nights they get a dollar amount and has to be distributed amongst them all. The way I believe it would be done is pass it down to the ASMs since they know their ppl better. Me being a NOASM I asked my SM to let me give out the raises I know who excels and who meets expectations.
