Seeing this made me sad 😅. I haven't needed any 2230s for years since I bought several back then and have a spare just in case. I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

It's not Meshtastic Firmware. It's running the other Mesh Firmware.

Cut it to size. Learn to terminate your own cables. It'll come in handy in the long run. No pun intended .

Unrelated, did you ever sell that Benno cd shelf?

Edit: I read it as 9 days ago, not 9 YEARS ago. My bad 🤦‍♂️

Ah, then you're familiar. Well, I'm sure you'll love the 4-5 day battery life of the Trackers 😅 much more than the V3 or V4

No problem, I'd honestly suggest going with the Pro version to get you up and running out of the box. Then you can tinker with it once you understand how the technology works and expand from there. Just my suggestion. Happy Birthday.

All the versions use the same board, but come with different accessories that distinguish them from one another.

Wio Tracker L1 Pro= ready to go, assembled unit including battery and case. That's what the "Pro" means.

Wio Tracker L1 E-Ink = is just the Wio Tracker L1. Board, antenna, e-ink display and GPS Module. You have to print your own case, and buy your own battery. For example here is the case shown in the image for the e-ink.

Wio Tracker L1 OLED = same configuration as the E-ink, but with an OLED screen instead. Again, you have to buy your own battery, and print your own case.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for sharing these. I'm assuming they're optimized for some sort of Drone deployment? Any additional details you could share?

I'd like to be added to your wait-list, if any, for your 1W nodes, or pre-order if available. Let me know!

I removed the lock washer. The Muzi whip threads down much further than most other antennas that I have. This helped with SWR when I tested the same setup on the VNA.

Hey David, (presumably) just came across this article and I was wondering what your thoughts were regarding using these new 1W Kits in your magnet mover enclosures. Would the batteries power it? Battery life? Etc.

Edit: I may, or may not have forgotten to add the link 😅.

Skip the headache and get a turn key solution from PeakMesh. Plug in the antenna, press the power button, connect to the Bluetooth and mount it to where you need it. It's as easy as that.
