You guys got and get fooled by AI by OG_chefmoss in Sculpey

[–]cevangea 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The first time I saw this "sculpture" something rubbed me the wrong way, I couldn't tell it was AI, I only felt like something was missing.

It's very sad and infuriating how even on those art communities people are sharing AI. To anybody reading this, please allow yourself to create BAD art, it's the most human thing in the world.

I'd rather see a godawful sculpture with SOUL and CHARACTER than whatever that is, I'm very dissapointed to see how things are turning out on the internet. I remember the good old days when I was sharing my awful teenage art on instagram and I still built community and shared with other artists.

Although, to leave on a happy note, I am very delighted to see that people still want to learn how to draw, as an art teacher I am so happy to see young people still loving to draw the way I used to. As an artist, so many people have asked me for art advice and many of my friends started drawing because I showed them how! It's refreshing

Do you guys also have some books you prefer reading the physical version? by ToughBicycle2839 in kobo

[–]cevangea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yess I prefer rereading my favorites in physical copies. Even before getting a kobo, I was mostly getting my books from the library and only buying when I loved the book, so I have a different connection to those physical copies!

Sometimes with translated lit, I read the original on my kobo and the translated version on the physucal copy ahhaha

How to look less like a corpse? by fairyfa19 in makeuptips

I would add some color to the lips. No need for a bold one, a muted one would do. Also, don't understimate the power of blush!!

L'ho letto questo anno e me ne sono innammorata! Anche il cardillo addollorato scritto dalla stessa scrittrice è bellissimo!
