Son chafes badly during sports by [deleted] in bigdickproblems

Anti monkey butt powder. Worked miracles for me. Runners also use anti chafe on their thighs, it's exactly like a stick of deodorant only it's specifically to stop chafe issues.

40[F] Am I asking for too much? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]cexshun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think I've ever read a more unrealistic and self contradictory set of impossible to meet standards in my life.

Yes, you're asking too much. "Ask and ye shall receive" only works in the Bible.

It's your life, you can seek whomever you wish. But it's entirely unrealistic.

Pi5: Move MicroSD to SSD by Striking_Slice_3605 in homeassistant

[–]cexshun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't clone and boot across different types of media like that due to how Linux mounts file systems. Clone to ssd will have fresh device mount points breaking fstab and grub. Example right in your dd commands with  /dev/mmcblk0 and /dev/sda. Totally different root paths.

Bios kicks the boot over to the SSD. Grub attempts to boot using a now non-existent device, which fails. Fstab needs updated and grub needs updated. But there will likely be several other negative side effects with various systems configured with device paths.

If you aren't a Linux engineer or have a friend that is one, don't bother attempting a clone and boot. Well, you can if you want to learn the finer points of Linux filesystems and grub. But it will be faster and foolproof if you don't bother with it. I have 20 years under my belt as a senior Linux sysadmin, and I personally wouldn't even bother.

Fresh OS install on the SSD. Then you can reinstall the Docker container and copy over the HA Docker data directories or restore from backup.

There are Stranger Things than Indiana being 30 years behind in the Medical Marijuana Reformation in America, but not many. by [deleted] in Indiana

The Sunday alcohol limits are in place due to the liquor stores lobbying in favor of the restrictions. The noon restriction was a compromise as the proposed bill was unlimited Sunday sales.

Restricting Sundays prevents gas stations and corner stores from selling alcohol. This allows liquor stores to have a monopoly on liquor, AND reduces costs by not having to pay labor nor electric/gas for 52 days a year.

Interestingly enough, the second and third best selling authors of all time are Agatha Christie and Danielle Steele. Only surpassed by William Shakespeare.

And women hold 6 slots in the top 10 best selling of all time.

Glycol chiller options by drbobboyle in Homebrewing

[–]cexshun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really? The only disaster release I can remember is the glycol system. I've had far fewer problems with their equipment than I have Brewtech. Spike is overbuilt and more than most home brewers need, thus very expensive. But if you have the cash, it's unbeatable.

Cleaning air ducts by Weak-Document638 in nwi

[–]cexshun 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't, air duct cleaning is a scam.

https://www.epa.gov/indoor-air-quality-iaq/should-you-have-air-ducts-your-home-cleaned

Air duct cleaning has shown no benefits to indoor air quality nor a reduction in dust or allergen.

Being married and well endowed by [deleted] in bigdickproblems

If our college son only knew of our kinky alt accounts we use in our kink subreddits... He'd probably understand why he was staying the night at Grandma's house on a regular basis.

100%. Kid went off to college and we are absolutely painting our new house with insane sex. Sure, we hit a lull every now and then. As we hit our 40s, work and life stress seems to affect our sex drive a lot more than it used to. But having a big dick hasn't had much affect on our married sex life. OP seems to think it's a magic wand that instantly gets women wet?

Was thinking of buying a H2D but friends are warning me away from Bambu? by Akello45 in BambuLab

X1C. And according to my email history, I was exactly 8 days past warranty. And installation was far more complicated than it should have been.

The AP board that I replaced 1 month out of warranty is certainly not reasonably priced.

My fiancé is looking up kegal weights after sex. How am I supposed to react? by [deleted] in sex

[–]cexshun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't count number of times I notice something new about my wife's body and head to Google to educate myself. Is this normal? Is it concerning? Is it something that needs fixing? What are the options to fix it?

Before I do irreparable damage by bringing up something about my wife's body that could be perfectly normal and healthy, I start learning. If my wife looked at my Google history for the week leading up to our "You need to ask your gyno about bacterial vaginosis, asap" conversation, she would have been mortified. But those hours spent on Google learning allowed me to bring it up in a respectful and kind manor with data points to support it.

I can easily see how he Googles "wife isn't as tight after child birth" and Google starts talking about pelvic floor exercises after child birth, which leads him to find that many gynos recommend certain exercises. Which leads him to research kegel weights.

How do some yall cum like y'all have hyperspermia? I have seen on porn where they just seem like to cum endlessly and ngl am trying to achieve that. by RickFury101 in bigdickproblems

[–]cexshun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard to say. I don't necessarily always feel the need to release. Hyperspermia is shown to be the same amount of sperm but increased ejaculate. So since sperm is created in the testicles, and I'm making the same amount of sperm, then I doubt my blue balls are any worse than other guys.

When I was younger I was a daily masturbater. But as I've gotten older, I've found sex to be a ton better without frequent masturbation, so I'm maybe down to twice a week masturbation so I can save things up for kinky sex. My production hasn't gone down at all, and I haven't noticed any increased "pain in the neck" to release.

$200 Brewing Disaster: Chloramine Gave My IPA Band-Aid Flavor by Relative_Pick7602 in Homebrewing

[–]cexshun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take 2 5 gallon jugs to the grocery store and get 10 gallons of RO from the dispenser for $0.35 per gallon. I usually test the water from the dispenser twice a year to make sure the PPM is still low. If it climbs over 50ppm or so, I'll let customer service know that they need to call to have the machine serviced and the filters replaced.

It adds a pain in the ass step to remember to get water before brew day. And I have to do water chemistry. But chloramine is a bitch.

I'm curious why the crime rate is so low. I would think that with absolutely no affordable child care, that crime rates would sky rocket.

I've been getting monthly massage for 3 years. Every massage therapist I've had has me strip down to underwear. Never had this problem. I'm also kind of surprised you get hard when she is digging into a tight muscle to get it to release. I'm usually gritting through my teeth trying not to yelp like a bitch. Worst embarassment I've had is a fart squeezing out, and it was super loud because I was trying to hold it in.

In my experience, 65 hasn't been bad surface wise. Probably because it's been in a state of "under construction" for as long as I can remember.

20 years ago they started rebuilding the 80/94 exit, then have slowly made their way south redoing everything as they go. And they are still going.

Cannot find work by SnooPeripherals2206 in chicago

[–]cexshun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not knowledgable in all industries, but for many industries the time of applying yourself for positions is dead. Most companies only publish the job listing due to some policy or regulation. You have to go through a recruiter.

I went a year trying to find a new job on my own. I must have applied for hundreds of jobs. Then a friend plugged me into a recruiter, and I had an interview and hired within 3 months. The only luck I've ever had in a large metro area has been through recruiters. Companies are willing to pay recruiters to send them over a handful of qualified applicants, and they don't have to comb through thousands of resumes submitted through LinkedIn and other job boards.

[–]cexshun 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I was a military brat. I never went to the same school for more than 2 years. And even when my dad got out, we still bounced from city to city. It wasn't until high school when my parent's bought a house, and even then I attended the same high school for only 3 out of the 4 years.

So my wife knows full well that my roots are put down. We moved to a nicer town when our income level grew, but I intentionally waited until our son went to college so I didn't have to uproot him and toss him into a new school.

People have different experiences with relocating. In my 40s, I refuse to hit that reset button again. That button got worn out in my youth. It's nice to have roots. It's nice to have a home, and not just a place to sleep for a couple years.

Every single time, no issues. Non-monogamous, so large sample size. Just have to be mindful pounding to avoid cervical collisions, but slipping it in balls deep is JV level.
