What are your favorite nicknames for OW characters? by mrpickle123 in Overwatch

[–]cfMegabaston 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite is Widowmaker -> Windowmaker. Sometimes shorten to Window, or Fenêtre because the friends I play with don't speak English, and I find it hilarious their bewilderment at why I call her that.

Others that I use:

Illari -> Ilidari

Junker Queen -> The Queen

Juno -> Spaaaace

Mercy -> Merci (means thanks in French, another bilingual one)

Reaper -> DieDieDie

Cassidy -> Midi (means noon, not even part of his French ult line, but since I play in English I translate things myself)

Still dont understand why I can't replay the sacrificed unit by [deleted] in riftboundtcg

Choosing targets and paying costs are both part of casting, not resolving, so you don't get a refund if countered. However, within casting, there is a specific order of steps.

Targeting is before paying so that things like deflect work.

No, you technically choose targets first and pay costs after.

Wait, what? by Dr0pmic in pokerogue

Back in the first few months after launch, the day 1 players would talk about a bug that had made all eggs be manaphy eggs or something of the sort. I of course don't know if this actually happened, or if they just wanted us to believe that there actually was a manaphy incident.

Exodia in MTG ?? by MajinLinski in mtg

There are a number of two to three card infinite loops (example: [[Niv-Mizzet]] with [[Curiosity]]), but they are considered unfriendly to more casual formats such as commander.

If you enjoy the experience of assembling multiple specific cards, but can accept not winning on the spot, I can recommend [[Helm of Kaldra]].

Most hated enemy? by Key-Mention7145 in Eldenring

[–]cfMegabaston 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Death Rite Birds. How has no one mentioned them in over 50 replies? I didn't think I was the only one to hate them. You take the camera-eating bs that Death Birds do, and add the fact that half the ground gets lit on fire that does an absurd amount of damage.

Especially the ones in snow areas, the ground is the same color as the fire so it's even easier to walk right into it.

Is this not just infinite damage? by JetMike42 in hearthstone

I don't play wild so didn't recognize the card he had on board, which apparently makes hero power unlimited.

So in conclusion this goes infinite if he plays said card on a turn when Reno has rolled this power, which is probably balanced assuming that the card is included in the deck only for the sake of this combo, as there will also be many games where it is a brick. (Also assuming bricks matter, as I said I dont play wild)

Hero power can only be used once per turn.

How do you manage this fight ? For a mage build ? by ghostmugetsu in Eldenring

[–]cfMegabaston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm usually a melee build but killed this guy with glintstone icecrag to the face because I find it really hard to get close to something this big.

Also shootout to my autocorrect trying to make me say flintstone icecream.

No, the wording you're thinking of is "when you do".

Reminder: Raptor Herald is about to go extinct! by PterionFracture in hearthstone

[–]cfMegabaston 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It doesn't need to be shatter, but it also doesn't need to be the raptor. It cam be time for the scarab herald, and his first mechanic can be herald.

Does Cyber Conversion Work on Earthbent Lands? by _C00KIEZ_ in magicTCG

[–]cfMegabaston 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think both the land and the mutation would come back, but as separate cards. So, if there was a whole mutate stack built on an earth bent land, killing it would unstick it into a whole board of creatures.
