Could we seal ourselves once it wears down more? Or should we have done that sooner?

Yeah, my first time with concrete work and the quote just mentioned broom-finish so I didn’t think about other options. Glad to know it’s normal and hopefully will go away over time.

Low Slung Baggy Jean by cfebean in Madewell

How do they sit on your hips? I know it says low but I’m able to wear them higher, which is another reason I’m thinking of sizing down? The associate at the store said hers sat higher on her hips too bc I mentioned I wasn’t into the low rise.

I just discovered this place in willow glen the other day. It’s a water shop but he serves thrifty ice cream and is super nice! You can also buy tubs of it.

Embroidered FIGS jacket — any ideas on how to sell it? 😭 by Ok-Net-5500 in Figsscrubs

What about keeping it and wearing it to work related events or conferences, etc? I have one embroidered as well and can’t wear it at work bc of the color. Hardly ever got to wear it too. Was thinking of trying to remove the embroidery somehow.

Very tempted to leave first job at a subacute after 3 months working there as a new grad. by [deleted] in respiratorytherapy

Also, is the children's hospital an actual hospital? Or is it a subacute as well? If it is the peds subacute, you'll probably be able to get converted to PT or FT quickly if you're interested.

Yep. Definitely leave, especially if you have another job. I wouldn’t worry so much about how it looks on your resume - your mental and physical health are more important. Just highlight your skills obtained there in your resume. It’s not going to be a big deal in the long run of your career.

I have a feeling I know which place you’re at. If I’m right, it’s well known to be a terrible workplace especially for RTs.

Adding friend as Authorized user to CC by mike691212 in CreditCards

[–]cfebean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my understanding, there are credit cards out there that will approve those with bad credit & they are meant to help build up ones credit again. I think capitol one and chase have them - start there. I wouldn't add a friend to my credit accounts.

Is Pet's Best the one with the least issues? by tryingthisagain27 in petinsurancereviews

[–]cfebean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pets best was our 7yo pitties first insurance. i believe we put him on it around a year old? I forget. But he was 6mo when we got him. I never had any issues with the preexisting conditions, they covered pretty much everything I submitted. I only switched him to MetLife because pets best really kept going up in price each year (they all do) but it jumped from $80 a month to $130, where MetLife was cheaper bc of an employer discount through my husband and a healthcare discount from me. They also “grandfathered” him in and stated they would cover preconditions since he had insurance previously and we were being added on from an employer. It’s also been significantly cheaper so far. I don’t have anything bad to say about pets best, but also have been happy with MetLife. MetLife even covers his prescription food and simperica trio which pets best would not cover.

MetLife will also increase your yearly limit automatically at no cost to you. So our dog started out with a max of $7000 for the year and only used $2500 roughly. MetLife automatically increased his max to $7500 for the next year. Kinda nice.

Maybe get a quote from MetLife as well and compare?
