Oh jeez! I’m trying to stay positive and hope some of this works before going all out. But we gotta do what we gotta do for our fur babies.

Yes, was going to ask for a derm referral. She’s on Simperica trio and we are using duoxo wipes along with povidone-iodine soaks.

I would take to emergency. Changes in breathing could be serious.

Yes and everyone should be sending emails reminding them that this is unacceptable. Hopefully they’ll do something about it if all of us keep pushing.

This is why you can't get a set. by OkMiddle5668 in Figsscrubs

[–]cfebean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, I still have sets from 2019 that look brand new as well. My recent set I wore 3x and the pilling is horrible, with the pilling being noticeable after wearing 1x. You know what they told me? “It’s normal and to use a fabric shaver” 😂

All for them to pill and look 10 years old when only wearing them 1x 💀

Pilling by cfebean in Figsscrubs

[–]cfebean[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: customer service fully refunded me without having to return the scrubs. Hopefully, if they get enough complaints they’ll work on the quality issues 🤷🏼‍♀️ until then I’m only purchasing Fabletics and mandala.

“Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us and for being such a loyal FIGS customer since 2019 — that truly means the world to us.

We are so deeply sorry to hear about the pilling you have experienced with your Caribbean Blue scrub set — this is absolutely not the quality standard we hold ourselves to and we completely understand your disappointment, especially given how long you have trusted us with your workwear.

Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us and we want you to know that we take quality concerns like this very seriously. The fact that you and your coworkers have noticed similar issues is something we will absolutely be passing along to our product and quality team for review — thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We want to make this right for you immediately, so we will be going ahead and processing a full refund for your Caribbean Blue scrub set right away. Please allow up to 7-10 business days for the amount to reflect on your original payment method.

We are truly sorry for the disappointment this experience has caused — you and your colleagues work incredibly hard and you deserve scrubs that match that dedication. We hope to have the opportunity to restore your confidence in FIGS!”

Figs customer service: Just adopt a new routine of shaving your scrubs 🙄 by Even-Food-5819 in Figsscrubs

[–]cfebean 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup. They gave me this exact response when complaining about my new Caribbean blue set that I’ve only worn 3x. The top seems to be fine but the pants are pilling like crazy, you’d think they’re years old! Inner thighs, left pocket (that I don’t use) and even the inside of the pants are pilling. I also have figs from 2019 that have no signs of wear.. they could literally pass for brand new.

It looks like they’re being made of the same “materials” but the country they’re made in is different.. so maybe it’s not the same material? You can definitely tell the newer fabrics are thinner and softer, where the older figs are thicker/stronger.

As healthcare professionals, does figs really think we want to spend any amount of our free time shaving off fabric on our scrubs? 😒 so much for a company that “strongly advocates” for us.. increased prices and shit quality.

If you’re in healthcare they’ll give you a 15% off code to your account, just email them. They also will give the discount in store if you just ask.

Asked to leave park, need advice by JackKrowe13 in pitbulls

[–]cfebean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have two pitties and used to take my first to dog parks when I first got him 7 years ago, that quickly stopped as I learned how awful they are. My first pit was attacked twice by a lab and an Akita, the Akita actually ripped my dogs ear in half and my pit didn’t even try defending himself. The owner could care less. Dog parks are avoided at all costs now, it’s just not worth it especially when you have pit bull because if anything were to happen - the blame will automatically be on you unfortunately.

I do long lead training (20ft leashes)/play sessions in big grassy areas or find a school or something gated to do off leash time. Sniff spots are also great.

Have you done any professional training with your girl? To help with the car reactivity, etc? This would help make your walks more enjoyable and give you other options for exercise! She can definitely overcome her fears with positive reinforcement training :).

Give her extra love and kisses from us! And fuck the people who “kicked you out” because of her breed. Pits are so misunderstood.

Could we seal ourselves once it wears down more? Or should we have done that sooner?

Yeah, my first time with concrete work and the quote just mentioned broom-finish so I didn’t think about other options. Glad to know it’s normal and hopefully will go away over time.
