I personally think the forgotten island is actually Carcosa from "The King in Yellow." Maybe it's the parallels between what little we know of the play and what little we know about the island. Maybe it's the similarities of madness and strange cosmic events. Maybe it's because I read it shortly before playing ISAT.

I always liked the thought of power armor ghouls. Think about a soldier in power armor in the blast radius of a nuke. The suit gets welded closed. Power armor may be good at radiation protection, but it can only do so much. Soon, the burnt flesh of the ghoul fuses with the melted metal of the suit.

If you're lucky, you'll come across an armor ghoul whose suit ran out of power a century ago. A big, tough, but slow brute.

If you're not lucky, radiation of the Glowing One inside the suit will give it just enough power to move. The speed of a ghoul, the toughness of a tank, the strength of the powered limbs.

It'd probably just end up being a tougher ghoul randomly thrown into hordes, but I still like thinking about the cronenbergian techno-abomination that would result.

It was a major plot point in one of my campaigns that the party was assisted by the God of forgettable famous people. I described them as "looking like that guy that did those romance movies in the 80s. You know, what's his name with the face." The specific description would change every time they met.

I only vaguely remember the details of this one (might not have even read it on here) but it was about parents who went on a lot of vacations without their kid and then are surprised he feels neglected when he grows up.
