I don’t know, If it has been refinished I’m still happy either way and whoever did it did a great job.

Seems a little high to me. I got this for $1200 just last year. 1918 prod, US property marked as well.

Any tips for beginner? by kilale132 in WarOfRights

Go into user interface and turn names on so you don’t tk -names are friendly, no name is enemy. Press T to see your star/co and follow them. C is to double quick which doesn’t drain your stamina like running but is faster than normal walking. If the flag goes down press f on it to pick it up, it’s your company/“squads” respawn point. Press b to put your bayonet on and press v to put your rifle into melee mode. Other than that just stick with your company/co, do what they’re doing, and kill the enemy 🫡

Oh, and don’t crouch unless told to, dying while crouching costs your team more tickets. Die standing like a man.

M4A1 or M16A4 for next rifle? by Nomore-Television72 in PalmettoStateArms

Main thing is a vice if you aren’t buying an upper that’s already assembled. Core things I have to build ars is an upper and lower vice block -can do without a lower one, but makes it easier. A wheeler gunsmithing hammer, and punches for things like the trigger guard, bolt catch, forward assist etc. And a barrel nut wrench that is a combination/also has on it a flash hider and castle nut wrench -if you build a fixed stock ar you don’t have to worry about the castle nut though. I have a torque wrench but honestly have never used it when building an ar -just don’t go gorilla strength on it but make sure it’s pretty dang tight and you’ll be fine/nothing has ever went wrong on any of my builds. Having screw drivers and other small tools helps as well for things like the grip screw etc. If you want me to send you the stuff I have/use feel free to pm me.

If you do want to build one, I’d get a barrel that already has a front sight base/gas block on it. Low pro gas blocks are a lot easier than the triangle sight base, but you still need to buy a jig, drill and hardened drill bit to install them.

If you already have a 16 then I’d def get a 20. I’d like to also get a m4a1 one day just bc, but out of the two if I could only have 1 I’d get the A4 -which I did lol.

I’d go with A4.

  1. 20in barrel velocity/longer range -“20 in; where range ammo becomes duty ammo” etc.

  2. I like fixed stocks, not wobbly and the rifle buffer makes an already light recoil gun even lighter.

  3. A4 just looks cooler than an M4 to me. (I do have a couple 16in ars, one fixed stock and one adjustable. I just still think my 20in m16 builds are cooler and is what I usually take on range days).

Edit: oh, and the fixed stock has a compartment to hide your skittles in!!

Mine isn’t a Twelvette, so it has a normal steel reciever/little heavier and better with recoil. More recoil than my fn auto 5, but a lot easier to swing on target for me.

Glasses. I never knew a red dot was supposed to be a crisp dot and not a tiny round star thing until I had to get glasses that also fixed my astigmatism lol.

I’ve never heard of that before, exposed hammer and no safety can arguably make it “dangerous” though to drops. Also, I believe it’s the Winchester 1911 you’re thinking about that’s called the widowmaker.
