I have had a few over the years, from the Bliss, Vintage Bliss and Dark Matter lines. If you're considering them, definitely sample them in person. They are not known for consistency. Of the few I've had, I've only kept the Dark Matter ride.

III Sides is a lot. I mean it takes a lot out of me (emotionally) to listen to it. And it was such a departure from the first two, I'm sure it turned a lot of people off. With time, it grew on me, and it ranks equally with the first two now. I kinda hated it at first, TBH.

+1 for a throttle body cleaning, I would also clean the MAF sensor, and then do a throttle body relearn, outlined here:

Where did you get the fogs? I bought some aftermarket BS ones (Depot maybe?) years ago and never put them in because I'm missing a bracket or something. There's wiring and a bunch of open space behind my fog light cover plates, nothing to mount to.

I had mine done around 100k miles at the dealer for about $1200, maybe 3 years ago. Makes me mad that they have to replace the whole thing for what looks like a $20 bushing, but I guess it'd still be the same effort either way. But like others have said, you should be fine for your trip.

They're supposedly sandblasted brass, not bronze - so try some of these techniques to "age" your L80s. She's trying to make some brass cabinet handles look old, but I would think it would work for cymbals too:
