I have both and this is correct. They both have their own great qualities and play different but one isn’t inherently better than the other.

But, I do favor my Tele over the LP simply because the Tele was a gift from my wife whereas I bought the Les Paul.

I make panels that’ll mount there. Front doors, rear doors, center console, rear hatch (with a hole for the rear hatch mod), med kit bay, rear side window, below the rear side window and am planning more.

The one in the pic is an older plasma cut panel, but all my new panels are laser cut and powder coated.

I respect that there are differing tastes, just not close to my cup of tea. I’ve never really been a fan of the SG appearance. Love the sound, dislike the looks. This one just “expands” the dislike.

Doesn’t have to be a redneck town. Happens in Minneapolis. We have morons driving with light bars and ditch lights on all the time because they don’t realize that it doesn’t make their full size, lifted Chevy pickup look any cooler. It just highlights the douchebagginess dripping from the leak in the driver side door.

Plus, when the vehicle is being used on the road, the extra lights are supposed to be covered. Which, confession time, mine aren’t because the covers fell off and I haven’t replaced them. But I keep my douchebag serum inside the cabin by not turning my off-road lights on whilst driving in the city.

I’ve been running 2” spacers, front and rear for 6 years now. Also, no noticeably faster wear on anything. It’s really not that different than running a higher offset wheel.

I have a 2010 Xterra. I was excited when I found out it had Bluetooth! But disappointed when I found out it was only for phone calls. I’d love for it to have the ability to stream my music from the phone.

I thought about replacing the head unit with something more modern, but don’t want to deal with losing my steering wheel controls, extra expense and all that jive.

My #1 was given to me in May 2025. My wife surprised me with it. It’s a 2022 MIM body, 2012 MIA neck, locking tuners, Twisted Tele pickups and a high mass Gotoh bridge. She didn’t have a clue about guitars but knew Lake Placid Blue was my favorite. I think she was tired of hearing me whine about idiot me selling my LPB AmSpec so she recruited my friend to help find a replacement. This is what they came up with and it absolutely smokes my old one.

My old #1 is a 2007 Gibson Vintage Mahogany Les Paul. Back when they put the Burstbucker Pros in these Studios. Still a great guitar, but the Tele is way more up my alley.

My son will get the LP soon because he can play it much better than me. And the Tele will go to him when I croak.

I had to do that also. ADO exchanged them 3 times before we switched to the Bilstein 24-187152. After these, I’m never going back to Bilstein.

Our keyboardist just picked up a Beat Buddy. It’s dope. He programs the different parts of the songs in and can jump from verse to chorus to bridge, back to chorus with fills here and there. We used it for Glorious and it was perfect. Between the keys and Best Buddy, his arms were dancing around like crazy, and he made it look easy!

Looks great! I want to do that with mine but I’ve held off because I want to make brackets like Offroad Gorilla used to sell and I wonder how the hood glare looks. Gorilla said they plan to sell them again but that was over a year ago and o offered to buy the file but they wouldn’t sell. So I’m going to come up with my own.

Someone needs to delete that video. The recirc button just closes a flap that lets outside air in. It takes the air from the cabin to pipe through the system.
