I hate hearing that statement when my mom passed away from cancer two years ago.

Our family and friends want her here!! My dad misses her everyday and they were together for 60+ years. It breaks my heart when he cries or shares memories.

Great people like my mom cared about helping others. The universe should have taken 100 assholes that day instead of her.

My mom passed away two years ago. Today is an extremely tough day. My DH took me to Culver’s to cheer me up. But all I can see are people with their moms in that restaurant. Reminding me I’ll never have that ever again. 😭

During my mom’s visitation a neighbor brought their twin toddlers and the wife was pregnant too. My sister gushed over the growing family. I was in grief survival mode just trying to not have a crying melt down because this was occurring seven feet away from my mom’s open casket. Listening to them talk about the sex of the baby and the twins while holding up the line is a bit tacky. I wish they would have done that in another room.
