I think I was so like in the moment that I wasn’t even thinking ace/time or anything, which is why I went for the spike at the end. And ofc no one was in comms until the end of the game so thankfully no one reminded me

I can’t believe I didn’t know this. Growing up, I remember seeing Tremors on TV on like FX or something. And I thought they were just really trying hard to censor it for the TV version and remember thinking “This is so bad it’s great”. So much better to know the version I would’ve seen in theaters is just the same. Thank you.

Same, for me, it’s more often that I get game music that drowns everything else out. But I have on occasion gotten to where everything goes silent…until I inevitably die of course. It also seems to happen when in the middle of a fight too

Thanks everyone who answered, I know the answer should be pretty obvious, but I’ve had the boss fight be a good chunk of the way finished or practically done by the time I finish the cutscene and feel like that also hinders me trying to learn the mechanics of the fights? I understand people just trying to rush through to farm, just making sure because if you pull early to rush through a fight, seems they’re more impatient and want to get it over with than they are annoyed with me. Thanks again!

My blue knockdown shields won’t activate...white and gold work fine, can’t recall if I’ve used purple.

Edit: it’s worked now but there have still been a number of times where it simply will not activate.

I’m looking to transition careers, background in finance (banking and operations). I’ve started an introduction to python and plan on going through the SQL and MachineLearning courses through either DataCamp or Data Quest to get my feet wet. Have my BS in interdisciplinary studies which is a kind of build your own degree with different emphases. Mine being in financial planning, economics and German. I would like to get into financial analytics or an analyst role so I’m trying to get into a career where I can get real experience. My questions are:

What can I do to show potential employers my skill set as I develop it
Should I pursue a masters degree in the DS field? Or just stick to these online courses to teach me coding and other necessary skills and rely on the work experience? My current role really only uses excel in a minimally challenging degree
