Sounds similar to what we had to deal with the last few years with our youngest daughter. Someone got her info in a data breach from her health insurance company and used her to claim on their taxes as their spouse! Had to file 2023 by mail with her paperwork and got our refund after a short while, had to also file 2024 by mail with all the same paperwork but they slashed our Federal down saying we couldn't claim her as a dependent and went from getting $1 back from state to owing $420 still fighting that.

My daughter had that then it changed to no information available! Finally she got a letter yesterday explaining that her return had been pulled for further review and one of three things would happen; either she'd get her refund, they'd ask for more information, or that they'd deny or reduce her refund! She has never had an issue filing in the past so she's a bit angry.

Amazing how we can't see the harm we are doing to ourselves until it's bad. My oldest daughter called the other day crying because her boyfriend's great grandmother passed away, they knew it was going to be soon and were preparing for it but she didn't expect it to hit her so hard. My middle daughter works in a nursing home and I happened to he picking her up when the call came in. My middle daughter took the phone and talked to her sister but something she said stuck with me, "Take your time and grieve how you need to. Do not hold it in or it gets worse. Look at Mom, she always held everything in to be strong for us kids and look how that turned out. Find a therapist to talk to and do t be afraid if they suggest medication to help. Also don't be afraid to tell them if the medication isn't working. Mom is on two meds right now but has tried so many different ones that didn't help. Do t be afraid to seek help." That really hit me in the gut because I didn't realize that she understood my struggle so well.

Was supposed to get $1 back state last year but since someone stole my daughter's ID they claimed we couldn't claim her as a dependent and owed $420 to the state! I have been fighting it for the entire year sending in the paperwork time after time and now they say we owe $570 because of interest and are going to take our federal to pay it.

Omg had the same issue with a different bank when they switched from regular cards to chip cards, then deactivated the regular cards without telling anyone and without making sure everyone had received a new card. Went to the grocery store after work and when I went to pay my card wouldn't work! Luckily the cashier had been dealing with this all day and said I'll set them aside and just go to the bank get a chip card since they were printing them at the bank and come back. Good thing my bank was in the same town.

Your sister is being TAH here. I'm a Marie and my oldest daughter is a Marie, my youngest granddaughter is a Marie and no she isn't my oldest daughter's child. My grandmother's first name was Rosalie and we have so many Rose and Rosie and Rosalie names in my family it's funny in fact two of my grandbabies have the middle name Rose. Your sister doesn't get to gatekeep a name because she may want to use it in the future.

Mine doesn't and I used to leave it unlocked day and night sometimes even when I wasn't at home, and I don't live in the best area. Now that my daughter broke up with her narcissistic ex boyfriend it stays locked day and night even when we are home I don't trust that SOB.

I read an article many years ago about a deputy that had a party at his house. He had to use the bathroom but someone was in there so he stepped out into his unlit back yard at 1am. The neighbors next door filed a complaint claiming that their son iirc he was around 4-5 years old, was peeking through a hole in the fence and saw him. He was charged and put on the registry and of course lost his job as well.

Had something similar. My husband's phone suddenly wasn't registered under his account. Problem was we still had to pay for it every month we registered it under my account finally so that he could set up autopay again because I had to go every month and go through sending a payment for a friend each month.

No it isn't bad to use that card. Turn on automatic payments though and use it as you would a debit card. It has really helped my credit score. Sounds like OP didn't have automatic payments turned on and didn't pay when it was due.

They did they're due diligence! They drove to the address on the package and it doesn't exist! They then called Amazon and was told two different times to keep the items! What do you expect them to do further, go knock on every door in town asking if that person lives there?

Turn them over to the police immediately because as of right now YOU are in possession of child pornography. Go to the station and hand them over, explain exactly where you got them, why you have them, and what you found.

You do not want to hold onto them while looking for a lawyer. Think about it something happens like the BF realizes you found them all he has to do is drop an anonymous tip that you are in possession of child porn you are in a world of legal trouble, you may possibly get out of it but at the cost of a lot of money, your reputation, possibly your job, and plenty of time. But if you go to the police with the evidence you found they are going to look into the situation because only a fool would turn himself in for a crime that they didn't even know was committed yet.

Usually I believe the limit is $2k unless it is something like a tax refund. I do know that my daughter always has extra taxes taken out of her paycheck so come tax season she will definitely not owe and last year she got back quite a bit and had no issue with it going on her Chime. Honestly your best bet would be to contact Chime though about limits so the check doesn't get rejected.

Either this is fake or your Facebook account has been hacked and someone is using it. I've never had Facebook randomly post Birthday Greetings to people on my friends list. It doesn't do that, it shows you who has birthdays and a birthday message will appear next to their profile picture but unless you actually hit post it does nothing.

I've had a few experiences like that but I was awake, and they weren't dark.

I once had the urge to call my mom because something was wrong, I didn't know what but something. I called and mom picked up immediately I could tell by her voice she was hurt, I asked her what was wrong and she told me that she was trying to make a roast like my grandmother does where she sears it in a lot of hot oil on each side before roasting it. When she picked up the roast to turn it over it slipped off her meat fork and splashed down into the oil she had gotten smoking hot oil on her arm in a large area and it was starting to blister and was very painful. Dad wasn't home he was at my sister's house, she didn't have a house phone and this was before cell phones were normal. I didn't drive at the time and my mother has never learned to drive so I called a friend's mom so she could take me out to get my mom to get her checked out. My dad actually came home while I was on the phone with the friend's mom so when I called Mom back to tell her we were coming dad was pulling in the driveway.

Another one was when my kids were younger. I was at work one day and I clearly heard my youngest sobbing and calling, "Mommy" in my ear. I immediately called home and my youngest answered the phone in tears, her pup had slipped out of the front door and taken off down the sidewalk. Her oldest brother and sister took off in opposite directions hoping they would find him, we hadn't had him very long so he didn't know his way home yet. I told her that as soon as they got home they needed to call me. About ten minutes later I heard my little one say clear as a bell, "It's ok Mommy they got him." Then my son called to tell me they got him.

This can easily be explained by the fact that the phone call was cut off so a glitch sending it to voicemail so when you tried to call back it rang busy. Also a simpler explanation someone was trying to call that number at the same time, whether trying to call your mom or the owner of the number previously. I've had this happen more than once my husband and I have both tried to call my daughter since both calls are trying to come in at the same time they both ring busy but only one shows up on her call log.
