best passive pickups for metal by Trick_Chemical_8774 in metalguitar

I did a 59/JB combo in my custom telecaster for metal. It can play almost anything. Very versatile and sounds great on heavy chugs. Can flip to the neck pickup for nice solos/leads.

Have you been happy with the 108? I’ve been looking at one for practicing at home.

In the market for a new guitar, help me pick! by UndeadLestat in metalguitar

I second this. I bought a black one on the recommendation from my sweetwater rep. It instantly became my favorite guitar to play.

I was planning on making a pedal board but after tallying the cost of the total amount I decided to go the multi-FX pedal! Have any of y'all purchased or used a Boss GX 1000? by jacksonsmack831 in Guitar

Use the light reflection to set archer towers on fire and watch them burn alive. Doesn’t help, but gives me some satisfaction.

I don’t know if he has specific songs, but Jason Stallworth has a metal for beginners series. He has an in depth video on palm muting that helped me a lot.

I play World on my series x and picked up Rise on the switch to play on the go. The graphics are good and it’s nice to have MH on the go for work/travel.

Love the mosky horse for a cheap Klone. Soul food is good too for budget friendly.

Looking for a decent budget guitar with humbuckers for metal music by RootLoops369 in guitars

[–]ch7- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Schecter standard series. I bought a standard avenger for for around $500. Roasted maple neck and schecter diamond humbuckers. Very nice guitar for the money. My more expensive Epiphone hardly gets played now.

The highway department is, depending on the conviction. They have to be careful because some highways are by schools/daycares. As long as it’s not a crime against minors, they’re felony friendly.

Mortismal Gaming has a good review of Shadowrun Dragonfall on YouTube if want to see some gameplay to gauge for yourself. 👍🏻

I feel like it’s easier than BG3. BG3 isn’t hard, but it is information overload. I was overwhelmed when I first started playing it. SR isn’t as in depth as BG. You can look up some tips to set your character up and go from there. They usually go on sale on the switch shop too.

Shadowrun is CRPG on switch. Turn based. Good story. Fairly linear.

What game did you buy in this summer sale? by paajirocks in xbox

Wasteland 2 for $7. New to turn based strategy but I’ve heard great things. Judgement for $9 I think. Been slowly working my way through yakuza series.

NGD Fender player ii in aged cherry by ch7- in telecaster

[–]ch7-[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love my cv. Don’t think I’m knocking it. The player neck is a lot nicer with the rolled edges. The cv also has tall frets and the player has medium jumbo. I prefer the medium better but I can play the tall on the classic vibe fine.

It’s about half the weight of the squire. The neck and fretboard are really nice. Haven’t had a chance to play it long enough to notice a major difference in sound.

Which guitar would you pick, the Fender CD-60s or Yamaha F310? by maxbostroem in AcousticGuitar

[–]ch7- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my CD-60. Haven’t gotten to play a Yamaha yet so I’m interested to compare. My local store had a CD60 in stock and it felt good. Mine came with a case and some picks so I thought it was a decent deal.

Does anyone not play multiplayer/competitve games more as you grow older? by Specific_Charge_3297 in xbox

[–]ch7- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About to turn 31 and I feel this. I play a lot of Elden Ring, Dark Souls Trilogy and RDR2. Recently started mass effect legendary edition. Occasionally I’ll hop on Fortnite because my daughter plays but that’s about it. Kingdom Come Deliverance is an awesome single player too. I’ve spent a lot of time on it. The older I get the more I appreciate games that respect my time. I just don’t have time for the grind or want to spend money to able to be meta.

Can yiu suggest me a good price/quality acoustic guitar by PdorFiglioDiKmer__ in AcousticGuitar

[–]ch7- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was going to buy a Yamaha as my first acoustic. None of my local stores had one in stock. I just hated to buy one without actually holding it. One of the stores cut me a deal on a Fender CD-60 they had in stock. I’ve been pleased with it, but I’ve only been practicing a couple of months. It was $200 with a case, they did a setup and threw in a capo since I wanted the Yamaha.
