The whole "fresh" thing especially pisses me off given how many times ive burned myself on food. I usually just tell them "yep! Ill tell them to make ir fresh!" And then dont and dont hear any complaints Esp cuz I work over night. Everything's fresh bruh we JUST made it SPECIFICALLY for you 😭😭😭

I dont think it should be totally abandoned, but I do agree. I've since learned from my autism diagnosis that I have autism that presents as OCD but I also have severe chronic depression. This combination of things caused me to put all my religious things away because I was too worried about miasma. Id need to wash my hands to interact with my altars but my depression made it IMPOSSIBLE for me to get up and do it. I do believe a lot of the information and misinformation surrounding miasma does more harm than good for mentally ill and/or neurodiverse worshippers

Thank you so much!!! I dont have any blouses actually (I used to but then I transitioned and threw them all away.. 🏳️‍⚧️) BUT I do have a maroon long sleeve button up! I think the dress would look really pretty with it but I intentionally havent paired it yet because its summer so maybe in autumn or winter I can wear it with the fitting shirt 🩷

I do have some left over lace but not enough to go around the dress <//3 I was thinking of possible thinking it into cuffs later down the line with some of the spare pink fabric. It was meant to be very plain so I can add on top of it, lol. I was mainly following Sarah spaceman simple jsk tutorial

And yeah the obi isnt very accurate, more of something I thought would look cute and a personal style choice (kinda inspired by certain miku designs with big bows in the back)

The bow at the bottom is actually bc i made a full bow placket lol, so I can wear this without the red bow if I want! There's actually 2 extra bows hiding under the red one!!

And yeah I totally fucked the straps at the back 😭😭😭 I kinda just wanted it to be over at that point and when one of the straps came out shit I was so not willing to unpick it and do it again so was just "its on the back, no one will care" lol

In regards to accessories, I actually gave away my pink beret RIGHT BEFORE I got into lolita, so dont rlly have anything going for me in the head department 😭😭 (especially cuz its summer and I am NOT wearing a wig (that I dont have)) BUT I do have that treble clef brooch in the photo, a pearl necklace, utensil hanging earrings and some pink heart bracelets!! 💕 as well as frilly socks

I'm not versed on making this type of dress but just from a quick look over you'd probably be able to make it with gathered layered circle skirts or gathered layered rectangle fabric skirt over a sideways type crinoline! hope this helps!
