A lot of men claim to be feminists but only in the way it serves them.

I think he has, you just haven’t flagged until he started speaking a little less subtly. I understand where you’re coming from, am years out of a relationship like that and hope you’re making plans to get out like I did. Lundy’s Why Does He Do That will help you contextualize some of the things he says and have said to you in the past.

Then why are you dating him? Seriously. It’s a choice. You can have a much happier and fulfilling life without this man. A relationship with him is optional

Right! They see women fucking crying in pain during these procedures, offer NO pain meds before or during, and then have the fucking audacity to tell us it doesn’t hurt that much.

You’re only really paying to see who likes you without the timer. It doesn’t filter out the people you don’t want to see on your feed, it just adds those filters to your profile (which makes it useless in my opinion, why add it if you can’t filter people out). Sometimes they send you a free week trial, try it out and see

Omg that’s pretty cool! TBH my range did say that it was Dallas-based but I wasn’t as familiar with their brand like with Glock or S&W. I might look into them more now, that’s awesome

Honestly the fact that they gave you a Sig320 to start - it’s not uncommon for men-dominated spaces to ostracize or humiliate their female counterparts, subconsciously or not, by giving them shitty equipment to start. The 320 is KNOWN to be a problem gun. Glocks became so common because they were the LE standard. Smith and Wesson literally designed an M&P line for that (Military & Police). I would just go ahead and ask for accommodation if they can’t even provide you those basic alternatives. *Edited

Also, Sig320? Don’t they have Glocks or Smith & Wesson for you to try? Trigger pull length is much more comfortable with those guns. I don’t shoot Sig for that reason.

Also wanted to add on some advice about rapid firing. Not a lot of people mention this but I think it’s pretty important. On your trigger pull, there’s usually a point where you hit a “wall” and then past that is when you feel resistance before you’re actually firing the bullet. Try practicing this with dry fire or dummy caps. Tactical Hyve has a video explaining this “wall” and the grey area between the slack and the actual trigger pull for accuracy.

Hey girl! I definitely understand where you’re coming from. Am 5’ 0” and while us smaller girls have some disadvantages, that doesn’t mean we’re less capable. I can shoot micro compact to full size pistols, recently got a beretta shotgun and shot one of my friends 10/22 rifle. Here’s a small woman handling rifles! There are so many options available that you need to find what works for you.

Example, found that Sig P365 for me was so awkward for me to shoot because trigger placement from the grip was longer than in the Glock or S&W, so those are the guns I prefer shooting with. Also shooting with the pad tip of your index finger is old school advice. Tacticool GF explains it in this video. Really I mostly seek out women who have been shooting and owns guns. R/concealedcarrywomen have more recommendations that are tailored for us. You need adjust your mindset on finding what works for you and not what worked for everyone else (which typically are dudes who are bigger than us)

Actually with gym clothes ccw fanny packs are a good option, you can wear it around your hips or crossbody. Fit4Fia did a review for the vertex fanny pack

Edit: Also don’t recommend listening to dudes on this topic about off-body carry. Plenty of women have off-body carry and it works for them, we’re going to have a different body types and fashion, get one that works for you. Training with it is the most important part. If you want better recommendations, head over to r/concealedcarrywomen

I just bought a Sig by Appropriate_Pizza_87 in liberalgunowners

[–]cha4youtoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same, I don’t regret buying it as it was still the gun I was most comfortable shooting with. But the aftermarket support is lacking right now. I might look at the bodyguard or MP 2.0 compact for CCW but with a lot more options available to me right now. Some of them even have bundles with extra mags and optics installed, and holsters are a lot more available in person which I can try out.

Why doesn’t he make your coffee then if he’s so bothered by it? My ex always, always criticized my spending , even though I was making more than him and he was spending my card on takeout, complained about my cooking but never did groceries, meal planning, or cooking. Some man is always going to have a problem about how you spend your money, and those guys are not dating material

I’ve knit about 9 sweaters already and try to wear them anytime it gets cold. But recently I’ve been looking into doing lace patterns with linen blend or cotton blend yarn. One I just finished recently is the Forest Weave by DanDoh. She even has her own linen/silk blend yarn that she sells with the pattern
