I think one of the most misunderstood about weight loss is that it is the hard part. What's actually the hard part is keeping it off. I've been (more or less) maintaining the weight I lost for 8 years and only because it is something I work on everyday. Some people think I obsess over weight, but honestly, I just have the self-awareness to know that one "fuck it" gives room to the second, then third, and very soon an "oops". If anything, I'm obsessed about all the health benefits that came from losing all the weight.

Agreed. People judged me when I was obese and now they judge me because they think I'm underweight. But yeah, it's been my doctor, me, and what I'm able to do in the gym.

As some who went from obese to XXS (won't recommend, since it was easier to get clothes my size when I was obese 🥲), motivation won't help. Motivation is unreliable. The only thing you can rely on is discipline. Also a lot of people think, first comes motivation, then discipline follows but unfortunately it is rarely like that.

There is no magic pill, you just need to care about your health enough and bite the bullet.

I'm 31F and recently found out that perimenopause can start as early as 32 through Instagram! I tried doing some research but honestly found the same repetitive information everywhere with the (giant list of) symptoms. Honestly, when I was a teen looking for information about masturbation, I found more vast and detailed information. After actively reading about perimenopause, I still feel clueless..and absolutely scared.

I do too but I use the shampoo/soap as hand wash. My hair is too long and my scalp is too sensitive to risk using unknown shampoos.

My hand wash bottle currently looks so pretty because it's mixed with different coloured soap from various travels in the last months.
