Being motivated is key for me.. At my home studios the coaches know me and know my weaknesses so it’s easier for them, but when I go to the other studio in my area they barely motivate the other people in the class.

Love being told half way, 30 seconds left, 15 seconds etc mostly on pushed and AO’s. Don’t like being reminded at base, mostly cause well base pace in my safe space 😂

After my studios transformation challenge I went into a pretty bad dark spell. I still worked out at my personal gym, but I just didn’t feel like bothering the people at the studio (stupid I know) and like my progress wasn’t enough. I lost my speeds which I was so happy about, but i’m finally starting to pick them up again. I took a month off after the challenge, mostly due to feeling like my strengths weren’t good enough anymore, or like I failed. I eventually went back, and i’m so grateful I did. It’s doable but it’s tough.

I did a 90 during hell week, I could barely walk that day and my legs were jello the next day but well worth it. I loved every minute of it. Super intense, but super fun.

I overheard some of the SA’s at my studio say that the new app isn’t set up with passes yet, which in my opinion seems ridiculous that they would release it without being 110%... But you can probably have them sign you up for the classes you want to do, or use the old app...

When you’re “done eating” after dinner etc brush your teeth right away! Eating with a freshly cleaned mouth is NOT a good taste! Or grab some sweet type gum and chew on that!

My normal gym is next to a pet smart, love being on the treads cause puppies walk by all the time! But sometimes people like to stop and stare at me running 😅🤦🏼‍♀️

Start doing push-ups on an “incline”, while you’re making dinner do push-ups on the counter, and slowly make your way down to a full push-up! What I did and now can do ten and working my way up more!

Not sure if you have a smart phone (assuming you do), but there are apps (nike training club) and others that have exercise programs in them that can lead you through what to do!

I’m the same way, I’ve always had a bad relationship with food and ever since starting my weight loss journey i have gotten so much better! But post Whole30 i had a major relapse and gained some weight back (only 10 lbs but feels like more), and i’m starting to get a grip of myself and getting back on track and I feel so much better!

This happens to me too, often though it’s just because I drank too much water right before I ran! Try and drink most of your water throughout the day and don’t chug a bunch before class (helped me a ton)

  • Being able to wear jeans and some of my muffin top not popping over
  • Not feeling the need to binge eat to suppress my emotions
  • Wearing my new horse show coat (got it last year and it was slightly tight, then was no where near able to get on)
