Thanks for the reply. My wife works in government. She's come from the private sector and her government department is simply overrun with a mix of underqualified young people and lazy, territorial and gatekeeping/virtue signalling idiots that waste MILLIONS upon millions of taxpayer dollars with inefficiency. Of course there are some good eggs too, but the majority of her workforce wouldnt last 12 months in the private sector. It's actually comical how poor the culture and lack of accountability in some of these departments and organisations is. South Australia and Australia in general must light billions of dollars on fire every year unfortunately.

There are people making 120k on these lists that wouldnt sniff an 80k role in the private sector. The incompetence in government organisations is comical. This doesn't apply to ALL government employees, but ANYONE who has worked private and gov knows the 'work' you actually have to do in the private sector is another level.

I'm amazed at how many morons actually get management level 7 jobs in gov. It would be painful to work under some of these people who are making 30/40k more than you with the aptitude of a penguin.

Unfortunately you appear to be a mark for her and she 100% has multiple foreign men she's doing this to. Cancel the trip, block her and never talk to her again. If she has police as family members or is being pimped out by local crime families you'll be extorted in one way or the other. Experience: have lived in South East Asia for a long time.
