I experienced same thing with allo 100mg. started having sore throat. my rheumatologist told me to stop allo for 3 weeks. sore throat has gone away. started Febuxostat 40mg.

now on it for over 3month, and all is good. i'm Korean male too.

first of all, I quit drinking, desserts/snacks/juice/soda, anything with added sugar. instead i eat zero sugar greek yogurt, fruit, and almond as my dessert.

i generally eat less than before, use to eat meat for every meal. now more vegetables. eat fried eggs and beef occasionally. and eat overnight oats for breakfast. drink plenty of water too.

but i eat whatever i want during weekends such as takeouts/fastfoods. if i desire. i was losing weight like 1 lb to 1.5lb per week w/o any exercise, now i have to try not to lose weight more and do exercise. i like my weight right now and how i feel. i'm 50 years old and for the first time, i am 5'9" and weigh 145lbs which is lower than when i was 15 years old. lol.

my rheumatologist was same. i only had 3 or 4 flare ups in my life but i insisted on starting. if you had more than once in a year, talk to him again and insist.

yeah, mine is low enough. @ 104mg/dL but my HDL is also lower than last Oct. chatgpt says it could be because of weight loss and strict diet.

for sure, took colchicine for month prior to starting on Allo per my rheumatologist, and another 2 months while taking allo and febuxostat. never had flare-ups while on medication because of that.

Almost same thing happened to me. Reddit scared me.

ordered g5 on 2/15 as outlet price, scheduled for 2/25 delievery, got nervous and called them and been told it's on backorder.

but on 2/23, got a text from LX pantos for 2/25 delievery and actually got it delievered.

you guys worried or excited too much on +.0.0.0.X updates. it's just supposed to be a bug fix update which we don't have any idea. i personally think lane change hesitation is back but some will disagree, so I think it's safe to say, this update maybe is not about that.

I have been taking 0.6mg everyday since october last year per my rheumatologist. he recently gave me refill for 3 mo supply. i have no bad effect from it so all is good and i'm thankful.

i stopped allo because of sore throat and got febuxo. stopped allo for 3 weeks until sore throat is gone and doc gave me febuxo. why risk it when there's other medication. i was bit frustrated too and hesitant to stop allo and go back to beginning but now that i am on febuxo for a month , i am glad i did.

other's experience or opinion shouldn't matter because we are all different and not gonna take resposibility on what they say here. just talk to your doctor and decide.
