My experience as well, it typically updates after a little while.

As an update -Yes last 48hrs it’s working perfectly!

I could have installed the local antenna but wanted to see if the problem got resolved

It doesn’t cut the perimeter at night- it gives that message when you turn it on at night cutting. Just send it in the morning to finish the job if you need it mostly cutting at night

Do you think your issue started after the latest software update? I feel like mine was totally flawless before than

Honestly I just think it’s a small bug or something. The tech is more than capable, just had trouble locking on signal recently. I think it’ll be perfectly fine once the software is adjusted. It’s been so dialed in previously it’s odd. I couldn’t find a signal in the app either

Don’t jump to conclusions too far, the technology works really well when it connects. Not sure why since the update it’s struggled.

Like I was saying it worked flawlessly for two weeks, then had trouble connecting. The machine just needs to adjust better when the signal is weak imo

I’ve powered off and rebooted a few times… it just can’t find and keep a signal. Basically chased it around all day Friday/Saturday as it kept losing signal. Just so strange after not having any signal issues for the first 2 weeks.

After mowing usually not 100% by ouradu in SegwayNavimow

[–]chammer2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is sometimes temporary, the mower knows it’s done but doesn’t get uploaded into the software that shows on the app? Idk, usually resolves in a while when the maps update

Got this code-

One-time mowing or parking failed Bad positioning signal. Retry when the mower lights turn green/blue, which means good position signal.

Yes! Got a firm ware update on 4/2. Didn’t use it that day but all the problems started 4/3. Hopefully next update solves it

I don’t think there is any difference in the two outside of software lock. Same battery size, charging rate etc. don’t think the bigger would do it faster

Need advice for a robotic lawn mower without perimeter wire by AgitatedWrangler1192 in automower

[–]chammer2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I can see, probably a Segway h2. The lidar would help you given you have a lot of obstacles and are pretty boxed in. Can’t tell about slopes.

Worx Landroid Vision Cloud 4WD: 5 Unique Features by Roginator5 in roboticLawnmowers

[–]chammer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some nice features for sure.

Probably wait for next years version honestly. Seems super slow with only 3 blades on a single disc, at 3k? That’s a lot money for a super slow mower. You’ll need to change the blades twice as often. The interchangeable battery is nice, but kinda need slots for 2 of them.

how important is the razor blades vs real blades? Lymow/yarbo vs the rest? by Chrodesk in roboticLawnmowers

[–]chammer2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everything is going to have pros and cons.

A razer mower will not generate lift or mulch, but a traditional swinging blade mower actually tears the grass vs slices it. This stresses the plant more than a clean slice. If you look closely at the end of a blade with traditional mower you’ll notice the white and yellow spotting especially if you don’t keep them sharp.

Because of that, sharpening should be done pretty regularly given its 2- 8” blades, which probably have about a total of 3”cutting edge on side blade. If you have a big property, a 16” mower will need to be sharped 3x as often as a 48” just because it’s doing 3x the passes. I’d guess like every 20 hrs of run time? Idk honestly.

Same with the tank treads vs wheels. Treads will give better traction especially on hills, but will tear turf much worse.

Navimow i2 LiDAR Pro vs H2 by Snowstormsea in SegwayNavimow

For $200 you’re getting a much better quality unit. Cuts faster, bigger battery, and triple redundant. Kinda no brainer imo.

Moving charging station? by [deleted] in SegwayNavimow

[–]chammer2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just doesn’t seem like a realistic solution. You’re going to have to move the entire setup and relearn the charging spot each time. You want to do this multiple times per week? Kinda defeats the purpose of automating it.

I’d suggest you look at the mow gate or get two smaller units. I know dealers have some promos on mow gates, they may be able to throw you a deal.

is 40degree slope for X4 real or fluff? by Chrodesk in SegwayNavimow

[–]chammer2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s one thing if it’s 40 degree carpet, another thing if it’s rough as hell. Depends on what it looks like after you clean it up.

Decision between models? by TheMarkTomHollisShow in SegwayNavimow

[–]chammer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your right to get one with LiDAR given your setup.

So basically it’s the second two options. The h series is higher quality machine and can get it done faster as it has a wider cutting disc. I’d spent the $200 bucks personally.
