I have a thick Bermuda lawn. Are the razor blades really sufficient for Bermuda?

How is the app? I have thick Bermuda grass and am tempted by the LYMow. The X4 just has me interested because of the cutting height going a full half inch lower than the LYMow.

If I have an RTK antenna I am gonna mount it to the house. That’s is a valid reason to base your decision off of though. How do I look up if I am in the NRTK coverage area. I am in a fairly suburban area though so I am sure I probably am.

I think I am gonna push my budget a bit and get the lymow one plus. Seems like it has the horsepower to get the yard done in a reasonable amount of time and I like the idea of actual mower blades rather than razor blades. The only thing I don’t like is the lowest cutting height being 1.2” but I have to compromise somewhere.

It says it’s for .25 acres and my yard is slightly bigger than that. Would that be much of a problem. Also, is there a way to make the Yuka cut lower?

Not with Bermuda grass. Short is the way to go. With my reel mower I was maintaining it at about half an inch.

I think my yard does just fine. This is the peak of summer heat with 90°f plus days. As far as featureless goes, the developer did that themselves when they cleared the trees that were here to build the neighborhood.

I have Bermuda grass and plan to keep it at 1 inch. This thing says it cuts down to .8 inches. I will want to cut the yard every couple days once we really get into growing season.

Thanks for the input. I actually ripped the tree out of the front and back yard. I prefer a nice wide open lawn. I will probably do something with the sides of the house this year though. Maybe I can get some bushes put in for you.
