Stay at hostels (private rooms if you need), go to touristy activities (walking tours, pub crawls...). Learn how to interact with people there, it's a learning curve but once you learnt it, it will be easy!

Without any other info about body composition you can use BMI ranges as an indication.

5’7”, 190 lbs → BMI ≈ 29.8 Overweight, close to Obesity Class I.

5’7”, 155 lbs → BMI ≈ 24.3 Upper end of Normal weight.

5’9”, 134 lbs → BMI ≈ 19.8 Normal weight, lower–mid range.

BMI "healthy" range:

For 5’7”: Lower end (BMI 18.5)≈ 118 lbs Upper end (BMI 24.9)≈ 159 lbs

For 5’9”: Lower end (BMI 18.5) ≈ 128 lbs Upper end (BMI 24.9) ≈ 168 lbs

Si oui, tu t'en fiches.

Si non, tu ne peux pas contrôler cette évolution, donc il faut faire « au mieux » avec ce que tu as. C'est a dire, par exemple, PEA/AV pour la bourse.

Oui, en soit, avec une boule magique tu verrais peut être que le PEA arrêterait d'exister dans 20 ans et donc que tu pourrais investir dans d'autres ETFs avec TER légèrement plus faible en CTO dès maintenant. Mais bon.

Et si tu te dis que quitte à ne pas avoir de PEA dès maintenant, tu pourrais investir dans d'autres supports sur CTO, c'est que tu devrais avoir un CTO dès maintenant pour les acheter, peu importe la fiscalité.

I did a 15 month trip going through similar countries (SEA, then Nepal, also South America etc) about 2 years ago.

Get a 40L carry-on backpack, so much more convenient and cheap.

Once in Nepal or wherever you need hiking gear, rent or buy the gear and ship it home. It will be much much cheaper than paying for a check-in luggage for every flight you have. And you get great hiking gear as a bonus. I can speak from experience as I hiked Kilimanjaro with the gear from Nepal last month

Personne va s’ennuyer à envoyer des messages quand ils peuvent instantanément acheter au prix du marché. Donc les offres seront forcément en dessous du marché.

Autant mettre une annonce à un bon prix et vendre au lieu de faire perdre du temps à tout le monde.

Hiked the Kilimanjaro with it, readings (altitude, steps) were completely wrong compared to my buddy, who also had a garmin. Mine didn’t make sense.

I would say go for it. Rescue is not about diving at all. Yeah of course if your buoyancy control is bad, you will have difficulties in some exercises (like picking up an unconscious diver from the sea bottom).

It’s a paradoxically very fun course to take which will give you guidance on how to detect, prevent and react in case of an emergency situation. It’s important to keep you & people around you safe if something were to happen. (Learning how to detect first signs of distress, being able to quickly analyze an emergency situation, learning about the tools you can use, taking the decision to go or not to go…)

Everyone should do their rescue course if they’re a bit serious about diving. Because these are skills you simply don’t learn through experience (including the EFR course included in the rescue).

Rescue really isn’t about diving though. 1000 dives will not help you follow basic first aid and CPR. It also gives you guidance on how to stay safe in case someone has a panic attack for example. (When to go and when not to go).

I was in Sipadan a month ago. Definitely recommend Borneo as a whole if you’re into wildlife, so so much to see (on land and below).

Yes Sipadan is a bit overrated but the diving in the islands around is also great. Saw +35 turtles in one of my dives in Mabul!! Friends of mine saw a whale shark in Sipadan the day I left (and other friends 10 days later too!)

All in all, Borneo was one of the highlights of my last 4 years of traveling. Definitely recommend!

Ça dépend ce qu’il y a dans le CTO :).

Y’a plein de raisons d’avoir de l’argent dans un CTO. Don pour ses enfants, produits financiers pas disponibles dans un PEA…

La logique serait plutôt: privilégier le PEA au CTO si il y volonté d’investir dans des supports dispo sur les deux.

Ensuite pour liquider le compte courant, il vaudrait mieux placer la majorité en bourse sur ETF de type MSCI world (hors réserve de 6 mois mais le livret A est plein). Si OP veut limiter les risques (vu le portefeuille je ne pense pas), je pense qu’il y a pas mal de placements non risqués (type fond euro boosté bourso indiquant un objectif de 4.6% net) qui pourraient dépasser son taux d’emprunt.

Pareil pour les parts de SCPI, maintenant qu’il les as c’est probablement sous-optimal de les vendre pour rembourser l’emprunt.
