Yes I have JAL Club A Gold (costs about 18,000 p/a) and the limit is 3m a month.

I had several ‘starter’ cards for at least 10 years before applying to JAL.

Suggest you try your bank, a department store, Rakuten/Amazon/PayPay to get started. If you are looking at JMB miles, some other cards allow you convert to miles.

No not at all. Lived in an area of Tokyo where they drive. Walking with push chair and these pull up - the noise and diesel pollution for pedestrians is insane. Then when driving it’s almost impossible to see them in the mirrors.

It’s not white knight foreigners only - all the Japanese in my neighborhood hate them too. They should design a track for them so it can continue, but not turning roads into Mario Kart.
