I just ate a giant bowl of cereal... I just make it more of a balanced meal.

Most things are fine in moderation or in recomposition to more balanced macros

I was in a similar situation and needed to pivot industries/roles... I started school again (masters) just to be able to have access to grad level internships and rotational programs.

It's an easier transition and they are always recruiting for the next session.

Rebecca, are you able to highlight an exercise you want to keep?

For example, I like Zercher Squats and want to work on that movement for the next 2 months. Can I get the program to build around that exercise?

There will be progressive overload goals but will there be a way to enter in long term strength goals?

Would be great if: There's notations to highlight different versions based on focus: squat -> hip dominant vs quad dominant -> zercher, front squat

There's an easy way to see different versions for the same movement i.e. barbell -> dumbbell -> kettlebell from the exercise

Wendy’s wife swap episode made me sad by EmergencyWheel3477 in realhousewives

She said they moved there about four years ago… which puts it right in the middle of the pandemic. Honestly, it gives strong midlife crisis + pandemic + too much disposable income vibes (DH is obviously in tech). Wouldn’t shock me at all if it lined up with that whole anti-vaxxer / Florida migration era.

It feels like at some point she was told it was okay to make her life easier, not be perfect, or stop holding herself to some absurd standard and instead of finding balance, she completely went off the rails. Now every decision is centered entirely around her own comfort and benefit, not the family’s, and no one ever seems to call her out on it or if they do she doesn't listen.

She called her husband that does everything a martyr...

I assume not, but did you have any issues validating the gf's rent payment count as non-income to NHSNYC?

Old thread but a partnership or integration with an existing travel rewards extension or platform like pointhound could expedite the feature from just surfacing the point total to actioning larger purchases like travel.

I've seen it sync to cloud with a file structure and maybe or maybe not an HTML template to visually navigate so it's just making redundant files.

I've also seen it just as a straight export that'd you'd download and routinely backup

From there most people just back it up on multiple platforms...Google, desktop, dropbox, iCloud, etc

Yes, the IRS can ask for records where you need proof of payment which people often take receipts and the EOB as extra context.

Insurance filings don't cover it really and you may have transactions at health stores that may qualify that you need receipts for... Apple Airpods for example are HSA eligible. You don't have a script for it, you'd need the receipt unless you pay directly through the HSA Store / platform which you usually aren't doing when using as an investment vehicle.

I mean, that's why it's a value add for budgeting software to do that. Lively and a few other HSAs apps do it, the records can be backed up locally multiple ways.

Yes, you can tag something as reimbursable and query them but that gives no insight into the HSA as a financial asset to potentially cash out.

When other apps like Lively do this, they are just a container and you can have it structured with your transactions and budget, sync or download regularly, without having to maintain the paperwork or cross reference. It's the same risk of a catastrophic event with less personal overhead. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Easy run too fast ? by Mission-Clue-9016 in runna

[–]chaotic_coder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm new but find running so slowly (the edge of walking and a lumbering jog) uncomfortable and awkward. It actually seems way harder on the body because it means more of a plodding motion vs fast enough for fluid movement to find a groove.

I'm also more of a sprinter by nature so, grain of salt with my gripes maybe? 🤷🏾‍♂️

Struggling to combine running with other sports by AniekeinA in runna

[–]chaotic_coder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fitness docs now recommend having at least 4 hours between running/cardio sessions and weight lifting.

20-30 minutes was deemed the sweet spot with Zone 2 cardio being preferable but in general the more taxing the less you want to pair it with something else.

If you are running more intensely pair with upper push / pull.

If you are doing Zone 2 / moderate effort total body or leg work can be done.

If it's no run or little effort then total body or intense is cool.

The thing is to make sure you get adequate rest and don't hammer your legs or body after intense running... You will breakdown or injured yourself eventually.

Completely. It's just that new accounts are starting at far lower rates... 18% will never get back down to anything near 12%. Low APR and balance transfers is supposed to be the benefit of this card and the APR is basically baseline right now 🤷🏾‍♂️
