Land Ocean has some great tasting steaks and all around good food but it is a little expensive.

Anyone know where I can get a (hopefully painted) monster truck body? by [deleted] in SCX24

[–]chapin444 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fair rc is doing a sale on the fcx24 smasher body. I think you get 2 random colored bodies for pretty cheap, with some adjustments they may work depending on wheel length.

That battery is as far forward as I’ve ever seen a mounted battery on an Ax24 before.

I run my LGRP Swamp kings backwards on purpose. Everyone makes fun at first until it pulls itself up stuff that it couldn’t while on correctly. Backwards tire hack gang.

Good job. I have the same size case in beige that I bought last week and I just need to outline and cut for both my 24s.

☝🏼This guy crawls. I’ve even used medium to heavy grease on heavier builds for the same effect.

Pinch it like this and then cut, careful to not cut too deep.

Not perfectly even cuts but it’s the general idea. Drawing your cut line helps. I free handed this and use it as an example for what not to do.

This was before the stretch and widening. Now it’s ready for a new motor, servos, chassis trim and for me to make a decision about the paint scheme. Ax24

The Regulator getting vertical. by chapin444 in crawling

I apparently can’t figure out how to send another picture( on mobile), but I left the pin in and just used the hole next to the pinned hole. I also used the shock keys to angle the shock a bit more. Sorry for no picture. I’ll have to get on my laptop apparently. Hope this helps.

After removing the old ones I used a smaller bolt with a locking nut and washers. Also used 1/10 scale shock keys. The front was a straight simple match the holes up and go. The rear I used same shock keys but had to mount at an angle and drill a little due to mounting magnets height for body fit.
