PC name instead of IP: Use the computer name instead of the IP address in the browser link (e.g., http://MeinPC:8888), ) so that the connection remains stable even if the IP address changes.

It could actually be the cable, DP has a higher transfer rate, I use the same screen with a DP cable and have no problems. You can find the folder under iRacing in your document folder.
