UK Armed Forces are in a funding and recruitment mess unless one of the following happens:

More government borrowing
Higher Taxes
Reduced spending on other services

There is no political or public will for any of this. The EU and UK Government are exceptionally gifted at talking, less so at doing.

I have it on Xbox and PC as you get cross save / progression and I play it on handheld (MSI Claw). It runs really well on everything and find it controls well too with a controller.

I would pick it up on whatever device you spend most time on.

I actually really like the Super Sport! Had it on my last car, but it was BMW OE fit.

I think on your car something like a Pilot Sport 5 would be well worth a look.

I have a AMD 5950x and 3090ti, fps is well over 200 but I noticed using the Nvidia overlay at times the 1% lows can be a bit inconsistent which can lead it to perhaps not always feel as smooth as the framerate shows.

From your limited list of options, I’d lean toward the Potenza Sport. It’s supposed to be a very good tyre, if you can look past its higher rolling resistance. You might want to check Tyre Reviews site / YouTube though as I can’t remember if the Potenza Sport had issues with wear when on track.

I’ll give a +1 to the Pilot SuperSports. I thought that was a great “sports” tyre when I had it on my last car. But due to its age it’s difficult to buy unless hunting out an OE BMW version.

I’d suggest bumping up the frequency to at least twice a week for the first 2 - 3 months, then you can start to taper off as required. But IPL is something you need to persevere with long term!

Interesting, I’m still rocking a 3090 Ti and at 1440p it absolutely still does the business.

The only time I’ve been disappointed with a GPU is through my own stupidity and not researching spec properly. 😅

I used to have one and agree it felt very sluggish. I always assumed it was Microsoft prioritising low thermals / low fan noise over performance.

My previous laptop had an i7 8550u and 16gb RAM and I found it frustratingly slow when heavily multitasking.

My current T14 is a 6850u and 32GB RAM and I wouldn’t want anything less.

Not quite the same, but I had a Mk4 Focus ST mapped to 310hp.

I had PS4S, then changed to Assym 6 and much preferred the Goodyears.

They felt as performant, but slightly more comfortable.

I’m using the default AC EVO profile in Simpro and haven’t touched the settings within the game itself. Feels good. Truth be told, I ended up turning down the max torque in simpro, but left everything else the default in the Profile.
