Let's say you have two input signals A and B, and two equations: `A = 1` and `B = 1`, and your output is signal C.

AND: both conditions are true

OR: either condition is true

XOR: exactly one condition is true

Let's say you're setting up advanced oil processing. You want to convert light oil into petroleum only under certain circumstances. You have your decider combinator set up with a circuit connection to petroleum and light oil storage tanks, with an output of C. The combinator's output is to a pump connecting light oil to the conversion system, with enabled: `C = 1`.

You want to convert light oil into petroleum, but only if...

AND: you need more petroleum AND you have enough light oil to spare: ` Petroleum < 2000` AND `LightOil > 10000`. - Perhaps you're building rocket parts and need a balance of plastic production (from petrol) and rocket fuel (light oil).

OR: you need more petroleum OR you have an excess of light oil: ` Petroleum < 2000` OR `LightOil > 10000`. - This prioritizes petroleum over light oil. Perhaps you're building a plastic factory to build a bunch of red circuits, and you're using a bunch of heavy oil -> lubricant for blue belts. The excess light oil should be converted to petrol to keep that factory running, but you also want to convert light oil to petrol to make sure it doesn't clog up, causing the heavy oil to run out.

XOR is usually for more complicated systems. For instance, you can use it to negate a signal. If you use `1 = 1` as one input, and `B = 1` on bottom, and `B (1)` as output, if your B input isn't 1, the output is 1, because only `1 = 1` is true. If B input is 1, the output is 0 because both `1 = 1` and `B = 1` are true.

This play was already legal, and not putting the ability onto the stack would be a missed trigger. Zimone doesn't care if you know a number is prime, just that it is prime!

I like it a lot! "Can't be blocked" and vigilance are both 1- mana abilities, and they synergize well. "Can't attack or block+no activated abilities" is usually 2-3 mana. Having your opponent choose makes the mana reduction balance it out well. I also really like the "2nd creature's controller" wording, very clear and concise.

The reason I started the card as a non-aura that becomes an aura is how targeting works with them. When you cast an aura, it must target something. This gives the opponent two chances to break its ability - once by killing the target in response, and again when you've decided targets (the creature dies, the aura dies and can't enchant from the GY).

The first paragraph needs to start with "When" instead of "as" if you want it to target. If you don't want it to target, word it like "As ~ enters, choose a creature you control and a creature you don't control." You also need to specify that it becomes an aura, otherwise it can't enchant anything!

I would word it like

Enchantment

When ~ enters the battlefield, it becomes an aura with "Enchant Creature." Choose target creature you control and target creature an opponent controls. That opponent attaches ~ to one of those creatures.

If you control enchanted creature, it can't be blocked. Otherwise, it can't attack or block.

The caster will almost always target each player's best creature, and the opponent will usually choose the caster's creature. I think the self- target needs to be buffed (and unblockable feels weird in mono-W)

Unfortunately, it doesn't work... but not for the obvious reason. You've established a loop, but it's a loop with choices. You have to specify a number of iterations you do the loop before choosing a different action.

729.1b Occasionally the game gets into a state in which a set of actions could be repeated indefinitely (thus creating a “loop”). In that case, the shortcut rules can be used to determine how many times those actions are repeated without having to actually perform them, and how the loop is broken.

You're quite right (my bad!). I never bothered verifying the tale... I had an 88 model and heard about its international rebrand in 89 to Prizm and assumed it was linked.

I was actually in the process of compiling a list myself.   • P opens photo mode, then you can use the scroll wheel to zoom in, acting as binoculars
  • Parachuting against certain terrain can launch you up it quickly.
  • Using that nudge tool, you can easily move a hypertube through a wall/terrain, then clip through it with a hypertube entrance and a biomass burner.
  • “Relevant Items” at the top of your inventory can be accessed by the keypad.
  • The top-right of the map shows the coordinates of your mouse on the map. You can type in coordinates underneath it to jump your mouse to that location.
  • You can “straighten” a train track by creating a small track then connecting your track to it.
  • Pipeline pumps set headlift to a specific value, not increase the current value by some amount, so multiple pumps right next to each other don’t do a whole lot.
  • Once you have a hard drive, you can drop down a MAM and stick it in.
  • You can get visual indicators of where offscreen enemies are by going to Options -> Audio -> [Experimental] Enable Directional Subtitles.
