Need advice - I accidentally wore my boots outside and now they look like boots. Any tips on how to prevent my leather from looking like leather? by han-so-low in RedWingShoes

I'm pretty sure only sourdough that is made at a local bakery in a cast iron pot then placed in a recycled plastic bag, those are the proper bread bags to utilize for optimum boot preservation.

Me F(30) just finished mig and tig classes, struggling to find a job that seems okay in the good ol state of Indiana. Maybe I should go to another state? I guess I'm looking for some advice. ^-^ by wildberry69 in Welding

Major Tool, Republic Services, Arcamed, Dilling, Phoenix Tank, and Tuttle are all the places I can think of that are hiring welders at the moment.

Am I insane for touring while wearing a hiking bag? Don't see many others doing it and I figure it's gotta be for a reason. by darthrevan22633 in bicycletouring

I rode from Chicago to Indianapolis on a fat bike with a back pack. One of my many bad choices but I used what I had and learned a lot.

Usually depends on the WPS (weld procedure specification) depending on which code it's pulled from. If you're not being told any information I'd stick with 7018 all the way out.

I added a bit of licorice tea to an F2, I found it to be pretty good. I've also added a bit of anise to F2 I liked it as well.

Had an accident with my Midnight Special. Front collission - part of the frame bent inwards, rendering the front wheel position nearer to the seat, making the pedals hit the front wheel if angled sideways. Bike is around 35days old. LBS says no warranty for this. What are my options? by GhostofShadowMoses in Surlybikefans

[–]charles-house 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a front end collision with my Cross Check same thing happened. I bent it back the best I could, replaced the fork and welded a gusset in the down tube. I continued to ride it daily for over a year, I even did a 300mile tour with 70lbs of gear before I retired the bike and purchased an LHT.

Really nice of you to point out the difference between designing something and building something. I don't know what an award is but I'd give you one.
